POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A year ago, I published my first novel something I always dreamed about. That moment changed me more than I expected, it made me braver and more willing to believe in my own voice. One year later, I’m still growing, still creating, still learning… and still so excited for what’s yet to come ✨

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be one of the guest speaker authors at TMSA District Wide Literacy Night. Spaces that center stories and young readers mean everything to me.

If you believe in the power of books, come join us. I would love to see you there and share this moment together.

Next Saturday we are excited to be joined by local author @karlabauthor, who will be set up in our shop selling copies of her dystopian coming-of-age novel, The World Outside of Ecuanoma.

The book explores freedom, self discovery and the beauty found in a broken world. Karla will be set up from 12-3 p.m. on 11/29, aka small business Saturday! Come by to support a local business as well as a local author (and more details about what you can expect for small business Saturday with us coming soon!).

🧊 🧊 🧊

ICE and BCP are still active in Charlotte and their tactics are growing increasingly aggressive. @ourbridgeforkids is still taking food donations for families sheltering in place. Please check their page for necessary items or make a monetary donation to allow them to buy specific necessities like fresh meat and baby formula for those in need. Head to their latest post for the new donation drop off location and other important information. @carolina_migrant_network and @comunidadcolectiva continue to share verified ICE sightings for those concerned for their safety. taken in That's Novel Books by @karlabauthor
