Rest in peace, Nana. 🤍

Thank you for always being my biggest supporter. You never missed a show, and I’ll always remember looking out into the audience and seeing you there. You were the very first person to teach me how to tap dance, and because of you, that love will always be a part of me.

I still think about how we used to talk about living together in a little apartment in New York someday. Even though that dream never happened, I know New York was one of your favorite places—second only to being surrounded by your family.

You built such an incredible legacy in the King family: 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. The love, strength, and memories you’ve given us will live on forever.

I know you’re tap dancing in heaven now, and that thought brings me comfort. I love you so much, Nana. Thank you for every memory, every hug, every laugh, and every moment of encouragement.
