There are moments in life when God asks you to take a step of faith before He shows you the whole picture. Earlier this month, Marissa and I packed up our lives and moved to Florida to begin a church planting residency through @mybaysidechurch @mark_mateer in partnership with @arcchurches . We believe God is calling us to plant a life-giving, Bible-centered church.

Right now, we’re learning, growing, serving, and trusting God to prepare us for what’s next, including where and who He is calling us to reach.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has prayed for us, encouraged us, and invested in our lives. We’re excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to see what God has ahead. by @karlwendel

Life Update: Stepping into a new season

I’ve officially concluded my time serving at @tfhny. I’m deeply thankful for the people I served alongside, the relationships I’ve built, and the ways I’ve seen God move throughout this season—often in unexpected ways. I’ve learned so much and carry genuine gratitude for the experience.

This decision wasn’t simple or easy, but I’ve been committed to moving forward with humility, honor, and trust in the Lord. This month, I’m spending intentional time in prayer and fasting, seeking clarity for what’s next. I feel a continued and growing call to serve as a Senior Pastor, and I’m trusting God to guide each step in His timing.

1.5 years of practice, countless attempts with many falls and finally seeing progress with my planche handstand progression.

A reminder to myself and anyone chasing a goal…progress > perfection. 🔥 Every small improvement counts and yet there’s still so much room to grow. Keep showing up, stay consistent, and celebrate the wins along the way.

These past couple of months getting settled into a new city and state have held their share of challenges and surprises, but through it all I’ve seen God move in undeniable ways. Every conversation, every connection, and every little moment has been a reminder that He’s always at work, even when we can’t see the whole picture. I’m walking away deeply encouraged and grateful for how God continues to build my trust in Him.
