HoneyBook has been BUSY. 👀

There have been quite a few updates recently, and honestly... some of them are seriously game-changing.

Think:

✨ Contracts inside mini session lead forms.
✨ Multiple payment options for mini sessions.
✨ Multiple project dates (finally! 🙌).
✨ Built-in photo galleries.
✨ Library folders to keep your backend a little less chaotic.

But here's the thing...

A new feature is only useful if you actually know how to use it in your business.

That's why I'll always be sharing the updates that matter, who they're best for, and whether they're worth getting excited about.

Because keeping up with HoneyBook is basically my job. 😅

So if you're a HoneyBook user, save this post for later...and if there's a new feature you're curious about, send me a DM. Chances are I've already tested it. 💛

HoneyBook vs. QuickBooks. Do you need both? And WTF is the difference anyway? 👀

If you’ve ever stared at these two platforms wondering what belongs where, you are absolutely not alone.

Let me simplify it for you. 👇🏻

HoneyBook and QuickBooks do TWO very different jobs.

Think of HoneyBook as your client management system.

👉🏼 It handles your inquiries, proposals, contracts, invoices, payments and workflows. It helps you manage the entire client journey without having to manually piece everything together.

QuickBooks, on the other hand, is your accounting software.

👉🏼 It’s where you track income and expenses, reconcile your bank accounts, organise your financial records and understand what your business is actually making.

One manages your clients. The other manages your accounts.

And yes, they can work together. 🙌🏻

When you connect HoneyBook to QuickBooks Online, certain invoice and payment information can sync across, helping reduce duplicate data entry.

BUT there are a few things you NEED to understand before connecting them.

✨ The integration is one-way.
✨ Your setup matters.
✨ Booked revenue isn't profit. HoneyBook can show you the value of your booked projects, but QuickBooks helps you understand your income, expenses and actual financial position.
✨ Connected doesn't automatically mean correct. You still need to check your records, reconcile your accounts and make sure transactions are being recorded properly.

And PLEASE don't create duplicate invoices in both platforms just because you're worried something won't sync. That's how things get unnecessarily complicated.

The goal is to give each platform a clear job, understand how information moves between them, and make the two work together without creating extra admin.
Because you shouldn't need to become an accountant AND a systems expert just to run your business. 😂

As a certified HoneyBook Pro, I want you to understand not just how to use HoneyBook, but how to use it properly as part of your wider business setup.

Save this post for the next time you're questioning whether you need HoneyBook, QuickBooks, or both. 💻

You didn’t buy HoneyBook so you could become a full-time HoneyBook administrator. 😭

But somehow… here we are.

You’re manually sending emails.
Chasing contracts.
Checking payments.
Moving clients through workflows.
Remembering what needs to happen next.
And wondering why the hell this “automation” is taking so much of your time.

Here’s the thing:
HoneyBook isn’t a magic wand.

You can’t watch a couple of YouTube tutorials, throw together some workflows and expect it to suddenly run your entire client experience for you. 🫣

The magic is in the strategy behind the setup.

Your workflows need to be built around your actual client journey.
Your automations need to trigger the RIGHT things at the RIGHT time.
And your foundations need to be solid enough that you can actually step away.

That’s the difference between having HoneyBook and having a HoneyBook system that genuinely works for you.
And after helping 300+ business owners with their HoneyBook setups, I’ve seen just about every version of “I thought I had this automated” there is. 😂

So if your HoneyBook currently feels like another job…

Let’s change that.
Send me a message and lets get this sorted for good.

I’m going to say something you probably don’t want to hear 🫣 …

Your business probably doesn’t need another tool.
And HoneyBook probably isn’t the problem either. 👀

If you’re constantly chasing leads, manually sending emails, checking whether contracts have been signed, reminding people to pay and answering “what happens next?”…

You don’t have a HoneyBook problem.
You have a HoneyBook SETUP problem.

Because you can’t throw a few workflows together, watch some YouTube tutorials and expect your backend to magically run itself.

The businesses I see thriving with HoneyBook aren’t necessarily the ones who know the platform inside out.
They’re the ones who took the time to build the foundations properly.

The right workflows.
The right triggers.
The right client journey.
The right automations.

So their HoneyBook actually does the job it was supposed to do…without them babysitting the damn thing 24/7. 😭

I’ve helped 300+ business owners do exactly this...taking messy, half-built HoneyBook accounts and turning them into systems that actually support the way they work.

So if you’re currently thinking,
“Why the hell is my HoneyBook still so much work?”
👀 You know where to find me.

POV: It’s 3 PM and you still haven’t replied to your new leads. 🫠

Except… you don’t need to.
Because your HoneyBook setup is already handling that shit for you.

A new inquiry comes in → they get an immediate, polished response.

They’re sent exactly what they need → your brochure, next steps, scheduler, whatever makes sense for YOUR process.

They book → the next email fires automatically.

They don’t book → your follow-up is already waiting in the wings.
And you?

You’re not glued to your inbox desperately trying to remember who you need to reply to, who needs a nudge, or whether you ever actually sent that damn link.

Your lead gets a fast, professional, ridiculously easy experience…

WITHOUT YOU HAVING TO DO A THING.👏🏻

And this is the bit people miss when they think HoneyBook is just for contracts and invoices.

👏🏻Your HoneyBook automations can be working the second a lead lands in your inbox. 👏🏻

And if your current HoneyBook setup isn’t doing this?
We need to talk.

I build strategic HoneyBook setups that take your actual client journey and turn it into a system that works BTS, so your leads get a beyond brilliant experience without you manually babysitting every damn step.

You do what you're good at. HoneyBook does the rest.

Some client feedback simply deserves to be framed. 👀

Or embroidered onto a sweatshirt.
Or slapped across a billboard.

Because honestly, these are the moments that make me LOVE what I do.

✅ Yes, I’m obsessed with workflows.
✅ Yes, I could talk about automations until everyone leaves the room.
✅ Yes, I genuinely get excited about making forms, emails, contracts and client journeys work together properly. (I know. I need to get out more.)

But the best part?

Seeing what happens when a business owner finally has a HoneyBook setup that actually WORKS for them.

When they stop chasing.
Stop manually sending everything.
Stop wondering whether something has been sent.
Stop opening HoneyBook with a mild sense of dread.

And suddenly they have a system they can actually TRUST.🤩

That’s why these messages mean so much to me. Because I’m not here to just make your HoneyBook look pretty.

I’m here to make the whole damn thing make sense.

And after helping 300+ business owners with their HoneyBook setups, I can tell you that there is nothing better than the moment someone goes:

“OH MY GOD. Why didn’t I do this sooner?”

So yes, I’ll happily keep smiling as I read my client love.

If your HoneyBook feels more stressful than helpful...

Respectfully... you've missed the point. 👀

You didn't sign up for HoneyBook to create more admin. You signed up because you were promised less.

But somewhere between the YouTube tutorials, the half-finished workflows, and the 17 browser tabs, your HoneyBook became another thing on your never-ending to-do list.

Now you dread logging in.

You manually send the emails because it's "quicker." You tell yourself you'll sort your workflows "when things quieten down."

Spoiler alert: they won't. 🫠

And six months from now, you'll still be copying and pasting the same email wondering why HoneyBook "isn't saving you time."

HoneyBook isn't the problem. Your setup is.
That's exactly why I created my Done-With-You HoneyBook Intensive.

This isn't another course you'll never finish or another tutorial that leaves you more confused than when you started. Because for two hours, we jump into YOUR HoneyBook together.

We screen share. We untangle the mess. We fix the workflows that aren't working. We clean up your pipeline. We sort your automations.

And I answer every "I've always wondered..." question you've been Googling at 11pm.

You leave with a HoneyBook that finally makes sense and actually starts pulling its weight.

Because your business deserves better than a CRM you're scared to open.

Fill out the form in my bio and let's sort your HoneyBook out once and for all. 💅

Can I say something that might sting a little? 👀

If your entire client experience depends on you remembering what needs to happen next...
...you don't have a system.

You have a really good fucking memory.

Until you don't. 🫠

Because let's be honest, you're not just trying to remember one thing.

You're remembering who needs an invoice.

👉🏼Who hasn't signed their contract.
👉🏼Who you're supposed to follow up with.
👉🏼Who still needs a questionnaire.
👉🏼Who booked a call.

And all of that mental juggling? It's exhausting.😴

No wonder you feel like you can't switch off.

The goal isn't to become a more organised person.

The goal is to build a business that doesn't rely on your memory to function.

That's exactly what I help my clients do inside HoneyBook.

We take all those little "don't forget..." moments out of your head and build them into your systems instead.

Because your brain is for creativity, big ideas, and serving your clients.

Not for acting as your full-time CRM.

If you're tired of carrying your entire business around in your head, send me a DM. Let's build a business that remembers everything for you.

💭 Everyone talks about wanting "freedom."

But what does that actually look like? 👀

It's not sipping all inclusive cocktails on a beach for 2 weeks. 🍹

It's much less glamorous... and so much better.

✨ It's closing your laptop at 3pm and not opening it again after dinner.
✨ It's taking a Friday off without warning every single client.
✨ It's waking up to a booked discovery call because your systems handled the enquiry while you were asleep.
✨ It's not lying in bed wondering...
💭 "Did I send that contract?"
💭 "Have they paid that invoice?"
💭 "I knew I was meant to do something..."
✨ It's trusting that your business is still moving, even when you aren't.

That's the kind of freedom I help my clients build.

Not by working more.
Not by hiring a huge team.
But by building systems inside HoneyBook that quietly do the repetitive work in the background.

Because the goal isn't to become more productive.

The goal is to build a business that gives you your life back.

If your business only works when you're working... let's change that.

Send me a DM and let's chat. 💛
