A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend the @canadaengineers inaugural National Conference and guide conversations around Infrastructure Modernization and Sustainable Infrastructure. It was truly refreshing to be in the presence of so many other engineers not only pushing their careers forward, but also their respective industries. Now more than ever it's critical to be globally minded and happy to say the BEC is doing just that. 🌍🇨🇦

Excited to moderate this conversation on the future of infrastructure! 🚀

Conversations are shifting rapidly from traditional infrastructure to more immediate human-centered infrastructure solutions and grateful to be a part of this.

With my work through through @neighbr.life we're reimagining the built environment through regenerative cities and communities and joining a movement that's taking center stage globally. 🌍

Thank you to @canadaengineers for spotlighting this topic and looking forward to seeing everyone in Toronto for the 1st Black Engineers of Canada Conference! 🇨🇦

Bring some great info to the dinner table next week. 🦃

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, we all know the drill. Between the food, the football, and the catching up, somebody in the family is definitely going to drop something super real about the state of the world right about now and between the news cycle, AI, recent government shut-down and the cost of living, it’s been a rough year.

But thank God we aren't stuck in the past, waiting for the evening news to tell us our fate.

We have access to extreme amounts of info right now, which makes the solution pretty simple: stop stressing about the old systems breaking and start having fun building the new ones.

Next week, I’m hosting a webinar on my venture @neighbr.life I want to arm you with some context, solutions, and some grounded optimism to bring with you to dinner, real strategies we are using to build regenerative communities (plus a few other ventures worth supporting).

Let’s swap the panic for a plan.

Corey Johnson aka @Karnegie — engineer, musician, builder of systems — gave his first reaction to the Why Wait? music visual… and the man was SPEECHLESS. 🤯
He’s heard the song, but seeing the visuals for the first time?
“That’s shaping the ethos… this is bigger than a soundtrack.”
When an engineer + creative mind reacts like that… you know we’re tapped into something deeper.

AI is changing how we think, plan, and test ideas! 💡
As Corey Johnson aka @Karnegie, GT Engineer and CEO of @neighbr.life said in our convo, real engineers don’t just build — they stress test systems to see if they’re truly ready for the real world.
That’s exactly what AI does for your ideas today — it helps you validate faster, fail smarter, and scale quicker. ⚙️
