Spent the first half of my summer telling campers about my Jesus and how He changed my life! What a gift!🤎

Just like that, year 1 is complete! ❤️
In all honesty, the night before I left College Station to go home for the summer I ugly cried in the canes parking lot. Not because I was sad but overwhelmed by the Goodness of God. This past year has truly been one of the best years of my life and the scariest. Stepping out in faith trusting that the Lord was gonna provide. I’ve learned to lean on Him in a new way. He’s taught me His love for me in a new way. He’s taught me the importance of community. He’s taught me so much in such a short amount of time but the main thing I’ve learned and what He spoke to me as I was reflecting back is that a Year ago I had no idea what was about to unfold, all I knew is that the Lord was calling me to A&M. He knew what He had in store for me but I didn’t. His timing was perfect, as it always is. His ways were better as they always are. I may not know the whole story but I can trust that the Lord is guiding my steps and He’s a loving Father. I can trust Him with the future because I can look back and see how good He’s been to me. I deserve none of it, yet He gives it to me anyways. And that’s something I’ve attempted to wrap my head around- the way the Father loves me. He sees the desires of my heart and knows me better than I know myself- so whatever he’s got planned in the future, I’m ready. Thank you Jesus for being my rock and best friend.
