Excited to see #genderswappedgreekmyths in the @guardian today (Link in the bio). I have to say It’s not been the easiest time to flog a book so I’m massively appreciative of this. Plus fun opening quote: “She is coming!” cried Thesea, and she ran forward to meet the beast. The seven bachelors shrieked, but tried to stand up bravely and face their fate; and the six young women stood together with firm-set teeth and clenched fists, ready to fight to the last.’

I finally made it to @britishlibrary to see my painting of Rumpelstiltskin from our Gender Swapped Fairy Tales book at their family #fairytales exhibition. I was mostly excited to be in the exhibition alongside some of my all time favourite illustrators. Plus it was a heartening reminder that stories can transcend national and generational boundaries, reminding us during these divisive times of our shared humanity around the globe. And also reminding us we can conquer monsters, rescue others, grow and transform. Catch the exhibition before 23rd August!
