The pain is unbearable, a hurt I can’t seem to escape. You were so much more to me than a sibling. closer than that, like two halves of one heart. You were my whole world.

I’ll never forget the day I was pulled out of school because you were being born. I was beyond excited to have a baby sister. You were my personal baby doll, and I loved taking care of you. As you grew, your blonde curls and shy nature made you so beautiful. When I went off to college, it didn’t take long before you were a teenager, blossoming into someone so confident. You even became a cheerleader, just like your big sissy. I loved every moment I got to watch you.

The last couple of years with you were my favorite. We’d have sleepovers, laying on the couch together, just enjoying being in each other’s company. You brought a warmth to my house that made it feel like home.

I’ll always treasure the bond we shared over books. You got me your favorite series for Christmas, and we never had the chance to talk about it together.

The connection we had is irreplaceable, and without you, nothing feels the same. I’ll miss you more than words can describe, but I’ll keep every memory, every laugh, and every moment we shared, safe in my heart. You were bigger than the whole sky Tanner Lane.
