Copy tyre pressures❓ BIG MISTAKE!The problem? Two drivers can need completely different pressures in the exact same conditions.👉 Why?Because your driving style determines how the tyre generates heat.A lower pressure relies on sidewall flex, so you need to work the tyre aggressively to build temperature.A higher pressure relies more on surface friction and sliding, helping the tyre come in faster if you can't generate enough load yourself.Neither is universally better.IT DEPENDS ON YOU!If you've ever wondered whether you should run higher or lower pressures, or want to see exactly how each option changes tyre behaviour with real numbers...👉 Try my FREE Tyre Pressure Tool. Steering with hands OR all upper body❓Correct seating and hand position will improve:🟢 consistency, 🟢 endurance, 🟢 and even speed! Easy to steer❓👉 Easy to faulter! Brakes to the rear not front❓🤔Brake balance on 4-wheel braking karts is very individual. Just as some drive more aggressively, some drivers will prefer more stopping power than others. How to use brakes dialed to the rear? 👇🔴 Manage braking power without locking up the rear and kicking it out unnecessarily - helps if you've raced seniors.🟡 Run stronger rear grip. You can do with less steering sensitivity when steering with rear brakes - not suitable for all corner types!🟢 Makes trailbraking easier - steering doesn't get affected from supporting with brakes so much.👉 Necessary for DD2 rather than other shifter categories, where rolling is of less importance.#karting #kartracing #drivingtips #braking #kartletix by @kartletix
