Join us next Sunday 4/19 for the last day to view and buy artwork from local Bay Area artists for @lunar.art.exhibition 2026 Year of the Fire Horse at @artbuildscommunity. 𝘓𝘶𝘯𝘢𝘳 is an annual art exhibition curated by @quynh.mai.nguyen that celebrates the Lunar New Year.

For this closing reception, we are joined by our friends’ pop-ups~~

@kaaremvn: KAAREM is an independent Vietnamese fashion label, with design rooted between California and Saigon, and all production made in their in-house studio in Saigon. For over a decade, they have worked closely with their team of makers to create small-batch garments that honor Vietnamese craft, hand-finishing techniques, and thoughtful construction.

This marks their first pop-up in San Jose, co-founder Kathy’s hometown where she grew up, which makes this moment especially meaningful. To return and share their work here, in community, feels like a full circle.

@kasamacaphe: San Jose-based Kasama Cà Phê has been championing coffees sourced from Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and more since 2018. Inspired by the moments shared with friends & family over the flavors they grew up with and the spaces they enjoyed them in, their purpose is to nurture connection and collective pride for Southeast Asian coffee, culture, and creativity.

@artbuildscommunity: Art Builds Community is a women-led public art consulting team and a new arts space in Downtown San Jose. Check the website or IG for updates on new programming and events in the space.

One more service to wrap up the year, in support of continued flood relief efforts for Central Vietnam and Cebu, Philippines. Last month, communities across these regions were hit by one of the most devastating tropical cyclones on record.

With the help of our homies @vagosuper and @valde_spin, 100% of profits from coffee orders will be donated to those in need of aid. More details soon, come support and hang out 💛

Our friends at @thewellstudio_ are hosting our next pop-up this Sunday at their lovely space in Willow Glen 🌀☕️ Come bring your friends, check out their new studio, and sip with us on the patio 🔆🍊

Open to the public, no membership or signup required (we did join one of their workouts and had such a good time 💪😮‍💨). For those interested in taking a Sunday class or learning more, check out the-well-studio.com 🗓️🧘‍♀️

@kasamacaphe : We’re thrilled to welcome Erik and Kevin, a San Jose-based coffee pop-up dedicated to serving exceptional coffees sourced from Vietnam, the Philippines, and other regions across Southeast Asia; on the menu will be their Pandan Cà Phê Muối & Calamansi Spritz!

@joko_ohno : We will be creating floral and ceramic sculptures featuring the works of East Bay-based ceramist Jo Ko. Through her sculptures, she ventures into the unknown, breathing life into foreign beings and uncharted realms; anthropological excavation of unspoken histories, shaping a landscape where new myths emerge and unfold.
