Had the best time meeting @melissaalbertauthor and @penchant4words at @schulerbooks for the launch of The Bad Ones! They talked fairytales, creepy childhood games & superstition 👀.

The Bad Ones is a supernatural horror novel about the mysterious disappearances of four girls….

"Goddess, Goddess,
count to five
in the morning,
who's alive?"

I can’t wait to read and find out!

𝐐𝐎𝐓𝐃: What was your favorite book that launched in February? Or what book are you most excited for this year?

Poll: is The Bad Ones on your TBR?

☕️ Cocoa & Currently 📖

Today in the U.S. and Canada it’s actually National Hot Chocolate day 🔥🍫…

Apparently there’s a subtle difference between Hot Cocoa and Hot Chocolate but for the sake of this caption we went with alliteration … so Cocoa & Currently it is!

🍫🔥📖☕️🍫🔥📖☕️🍫🔥📖☕️

@its.a.collab.thing creators are highlighting their current reads and warming up with their favorite hot cocoa (😉).

Wrap up the month with a hot cup of cocoa & check out what @krystlesbookclub is reading today!

Ruthless Vows is out and I can’t be more excited to read it!

💌❤️💌❤️💌❤️💌❤️💌

It’s the final chapter of Iris and Roman’s love story for the ages and we can’t wait to explore the enchantment. Can they survive the ruthless vows of the gods? Will they find each other through the wardrobe?

QOTD: What book release are you looking forward to this year?

Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross is.. simply.. Divine. This book is a testament to hope. The harsh realities of war cast a deep shadow and yet, amid this darkness, beauty, love, and friendship emerge. Divine Rivals reads like historical fiction set against the backdrop of World War I, but with a mythological twist, resonating with elements of magical realism.

The divine conflict among gods provides a riveting backdrop for the story (I want to know more of the history!). The pacing is masterfully executed, seamlessly blending action, romance, and intrigue, ensuring a captivating journey from start to finish! The gradual blossoming of Iris and Roman’s romance is beautifully written, brimming with tension and yearning. Their letters act as an intimate window into their hearts and minds.

p.s. This is a duology and BOTH books are out now. So you can read and enjoy the whole series.

My 2024 word of the year is Cultivate. I’m a go-go-go type of girl, always anticipating the next thing. This year I want to focus my energy on nurturing my personal goals, my family, my friends. I want to take things slow (maybe focus more on my TBR), make reasonable goals & take the time to smell the roses 🌹
