Marks the day you joined the party we are all missing up in heaven. You’re watching over us alongside some really special people in my life I’ve been so grateful to have known.

It’s a very odd, and almost final, feeling to know you’ve been gone a whole decade now.

Time never ceases to amaze me. It almost feels like yesterday, yet it’s been so long…

I’ll forever hold in my heart, these words you spoke that helped me more than you might know:

“He needs me up there. I’ve done my job down here and now it’s time to join Him.”

Your work down here never stopped. You are in every decision I make, every emotion I feel, and every thought I have. I cannot thank you enough for that gift.

I see myself so much like you. Not just in our goofy nature, but also in our kindness and love for everyone. I attempt to match your level of goofy, but honestly, you’re in a league of your own 😂. You were the light of the party. You would walk in and everyone would freak out “Nia!!!”
You made everyone laugh. And that’s my favorite memory.

I wish more of the people in my life had gotten to know you. Thank you for your blueprint on life. I strive to be more like you every chance I get.

I hope you’re having a heck of a time. Give everyone my love.

Love you always and forever, and forever and always.
