J'ai eu l'occasion de réaliser en collaboration avec @kashink1 une coiffeuse transportable. Cette mallette se veut être une ode à la joie par l'acceptation de l'identité. Elle servira le spectacle de @kashink1 lui permettant d'exprimer son identité artistique au travers de maquillages et de masques représentant les étapes du deuil.

À chaque étape du deuil qu'elle traversera, elle construira ainsi son identité représentée sous forme de trophée. Chaque panneau possède une forme, une couleur, l'expression d'une émotion et ainsi un maquillage différent. @kashink1 va ainsi traverser les étapes du choc, du déni, de la colère, de la tristesse, de la résignation, de l'acceptation et enfin de la reconstruction.

Ainsi @kashink1 passera d'une identité imposée par des normes sociales vers une identité libre et artistique.

Pour l'accompagner durant sa performance, j'ai réalisé un tabouret et une table d'appoint. Les deux éléments sont complètement repliables afin de prendre le moins de place possible.

Enfin, la peinture réalisée par @kashink1 représentant quatre yeux nous donne envie d'en découvrir davantage sur cet objet magique.

I had the opportunity to collaborate with @kashink1 on the creation of a portable makeup station. This case is intended as an ode to joy through the acceptance of identity. It will be used in @kashink1’s performance, allowing her to express her artistic identity through makeup and masks representing the stages of grief.

With each stage of grief she goes through, she will build her identity, represented in the form of a trophy. Each panel has a shape, a color, an expression of an emotion, and thus a different makeup look. @kashink1 will thus move through the stages of shock, denial, anger, sadness, resignation, acceptance, and finally, reconstruction.

In this way, @kashink1 will transition from an identity imposed by social norms to a free and artistic identity.

To support her during her performance, I created a stool and a side table. Both pieces are fully foldable to take up as little space as possible.

Wall Art Festival – 5th Edition 🎨

A look back at four days of colours, creativity, and collective energy from the 19th to the 22nd, as the walls came alive with Kashink (@kashink1).
Live painting, workshops, artist talks, and shared moments, a vibrant celebration of street art and community in the heart of the city.

The festival also featured a joyful mix of music, face painting, and open art activities in collaboration with Queering in Chandigarh (@queeringinchd) and Queerlifafa (@queerlifafa), creating a welcoming space for expression, inclusivity, and celebration for all.
