Has it really been a week already!?

The 2026 KWU runners were unstoppable, fierce, and unbelievably positive. We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed our little piece of Kootenay paradise.

What. A. Weekend. 🤩🌲

It was hot, tough, and wild—and we wouldn't have had it any other way!

Our volunteers were absolutely incredible, our runners were endlessly inspiring, and our hearts are so full after an unforgettable weekend together.

Thanks to everyone who took part in this year's Kaslo Wild Ultra, we're able to give back to the Wildwood Discovery Society and support our local trail organizations, helping our little village thrive!

A huge shoutout to Corby Martin for spending the weekend out on the trails capturing all the action. We can't wait to share the incredible photos with you—they'll be available in the next couple of days, so stay tuned! 📸

Thank you to every runner, volunteer, sponsor, supporter, photographer, and spectator who made this event possible. This year's Kaslo Wild Ultra was truly one for the books! 💚

🔥 IT'S RACE WEEK! 🔥

The countdown is on, and we'll be seeing you all in Kaslo in just a few days! Here are a few important race updates:

📝 **Today is the LAST day to register!**

🌡️ **It's going to be a hot one!** Fill your bottles or hydration packs at every aid station, stay on top of your hydration, and take time to cool down if you need it.

🌲 **Trail update:** There are a few trees down on the 52 km and 22 km courses. We're hoping to have them cleared before race day, but if not, they're easy to navigate around.

📍 **Course update:** We've made a slight adjustment to the course. The distance and elevation haven't changed, but if you're using the GPX file, be sure to download the updated version from our website before race day.

The trails are looking incredible, the huckleberries are ripe, and we're so excited to welcome everyone to the start line. See you in Kaslo! 🏔️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
