Meet our 2027 Pittsburgh Marathon Run Coaches: Kassandra & Katrina! 🎉

These two rockstars, who just so happen to be related to a certain TasteBuds Sous Chef AND Citizens Program member (👋 Hi, Maria!), have stepped up to help lead Team Best Buddies into an incredible 2027 Pittsburgh Marathon season! 💙💜
And here’s the best part: you don’t have to be a marathon runner to join us!
There are ways to run, walk, AND roll, including the Half Marathon, the inclusive Champions Mile, Pet Walk, and more. Whether you’re chasing a PR, walking with friends, rolling across the finish line, or bringing your four-legged training partner along, there’s a place for you on our team. 🏅🐾

Want to be part of Team Best Buddies in 2027? DM us and ask how to sign up, fundraise, and support Best Buddies!

Let’s make some miles matter. 💙💜 by @kass.cully

Have you ever memorized 40+ group routines and drank multiple Celsius in 4 hours while being surrounded by rhinestones and glitter?

Season 50 - you were everything I dreamed of a more.

Rain or shine, @pghmarathon weekend gets it right every time. So much love, support, and energy at every mile - and we felt every bit of it as we pushed my dad to that finish line. We are grateful to everyone who supported our charity team with @amputeeaid this year - a cause that hits close to home. Today was HARD, but I am so happy that we made it happen❤️🏅

🫶🏼Shout out to @kathawthorne for being the reason this dream went from “maybe” to WE’RE DOING THIS.

🫶🏼 @puddinflaps for being our honorary pit-crew.

🫶🏼 @natecully for running all over the city to see us - you are my biggest cheerleader each and every race day.

🫶🏼 Our huge crew of friends, family, and dancers on the Birm who woke up early to cheer us on because @chelsea_cannata is the ultimate cruise director 🫶🏼🏃🏼‍♀️ taken in DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon by @kass.cully
