How sweet that it is to be loved by God.

I have been reminded over and over and over again this week of just how good the Lord is. The beauty of the grace He has shown me throughout my life. The goodness of His mercy when I tend to stray. How wonderful it is that He saved me and He wants to use my story to show others His never-ending love for His people. How He orchestrates paths to cross and different people of different life stories to connect in such beautiful ways. The comfort of the community we have through the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ. Our ability to be vulnerable with one another and share in each other’s celebrations and burdens. Super Summer has always been one of my favorite places to be, but this week holds an extra special place in my heart. So beyond thankful to God for the community He has brought me through Super Summer MS! Until next year…

Thanking God for the opportunity to go to Mission Fuge this past week with Calvary Baptist Church Youth. GOD IS GOOD and it has been such a blessing to my life to see these youth so excited to share His love with the world! So thankful for the work God has done in my life and in the lives of those in this group. Also so proud of my sweet @tristan_byrd04 for giving her summer to serve 🫶🏼 by @kass.watts

SIGHTS OF THE SUMMER

This summer has been filled with so many new things. New home away from home, new friends, new church family, new things to learn and do! A summer filled with school, serving, soaking up bittersweet time with friends and family, and sitting in the presence of the Lord. This summer God has taught me that through all the changes- He remains the same! Through all of the planning and praying- He is in control and My Father in heaven will provide because His plan is greater than my own. This summer has deepened my faith and my dependence on Him and His plan for my life. We are called to trust Him in the unknown and to live boldly in it! So here’s to summer 2025 coming to a close- to be PRESENT where God has our feet planted.

It is hard to find the words to say to summarize what all this trip has done to impact my life. Getting to go out and spread the joy and love of God to the hopeless and lonely city of Cleveland, with the most amazing and God-fearing group I have ever seen, has been truly such a great blessing to my life. God has used this trip to open my eyes to see all that I take for granted living in the buckle of the Bible Belt in South Mississippi. There is so much of this world that is lost, just looking for hope and community. When we can’t find those things, we turn to temporary fulfillment in things of this world that will leave us more empty than before. Placing our hope and faith in Jesus Christ is the only thing that will satisfy our souls. We are called to go tell it, living every day “on a mission trip”. James 4:17 states, “So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin.” My goal is to live in obedience every single day of my life. Thank you Jesus for your salvation power and blessing me with such an amazing support system and community! ❤️💙

🌟 SUPER SUMMER 🌟

This time as a leader. It’s hard to put into words the impact this camp has always had on my life, but to be given the opportunity to lead a small group and in a sense, be a teacher to these upcoming leaders has been such a tremendous blessing to my heart and life. I was able to sit down this week with a group of 6 amazing girls who were beyond eager to grow in their faith and their walks with our great God. It is such a gift to be surrounded by so many like minded christians and to be able to build friendships through super summer. It was such an honor to learn by leading, and to serve not only those around me this week but also our Lord and Savior. We are the church NOW. Revival starts with us! @msss_goldschool @mssupersummer by @kass.watts
