Such a special July 🥹🧡

Celebrating 26 and the year I’ve lived has made me reflect on what the last 12 months have looked like

A new job. Started my master’s. A new church home. Countless Sundays serving. Coffee runs. Road trips. Celebrations. Heartbreak. Healing. Growth. Lots of laughs. Lots of tears. Learning to trust God in ways I never thought I’d have to

And still, God is perfect and He knew exactly what this year would look like. What an honor it is to live the life He’s led me to by @kass_adilla

6 years. I don’t have the words. From late nights watching random tv shows that Clay puts on because he can’t handle silence or hilarious and random game nights. From walking through some of the hardest things together to laughing and making jokes like no other. Just so endlessly thankful and honored to have spent 6 years as friends.

Tiffanye, my best friend. Your wisdom is unmatched. Your grace is endless. Your patience is terrifying (how do you do it???). What an honor it was to call you my mentor and friend. You have answered all of the adulting and relationship questions I have ever had. Even the most ridiculous ones. You were logical when I was far too emotional. You were so encouraging in the weakest moments. Anything I brought to you, you handled with so much grace and kindness. You kept me grounded in the craziest of times and you always knew what to say. You are beyond hilarious, and when I think of you, I think I want to be like you when I grow up.

Clayton, my pastor. Your heart for people is unlike any I have ever seen before. You are the most ADHD ridden person I have ever met. You are so smart, and so incredibly gifted as a speaker. I’d ask you the most random questions about God or the Bible and you wouldn’t bat an eye before answering. Thank you for supporting me and trusting me to step into leadership in your ministry. Your guidance through that season and wisdom you gave me is something I will take with me forever.

The life we’ve lived in 6 years. From your losses, my graduation, growth and changes in ministry, adopting Jayden, questioning God, adopting a cat (insane btw), spontaneous tattoos (you owe me), your hate for my cats, and so much more. There’s not two people I’d want to have lived through the last 6 years with. It’s truly just unfathomable.

The Lord has given both of you gifts that we’ve been incredibly blessed to experience here in Arizona. As much as I wish we could keep you here forever, there are so many people in Kansas City who need to experience those same gifts. God knows that, and He’s calling you there. They’re so incredibly lucky to have you.

3 years of my Sushi Bear 🍣🐻

He’s the clumsiest cat I’ve ever met, has approximately two brain cells on a good day, somehow manages to fall off things he was standing perfectly still on, and makes me laugh every single day.

He’s also one of the sweetest cats I’ve ever known. He loves his people so well, gives the best cuddles, and has been such a constant through so many seasons of life.

Thank you for 3 years of making me laugh, keeping me company, and reminding me that life is just better with a goofy orange cat around.

One year ago today this tiny orange kitten came home with me and has been causing chaos ever since 🧡 Happy 1 year Gotcha Day, Clementine. She’s loud, clingy, and absolutely perfect. She’s half the size of my other cats and probably twice as dramatic. Big fan of this cat by @kass_adilla

5 whole years of my grumpy boy 🥹

I say the same thing every year. He looked silly in his shelter photo. I fell in love immediately. It took over 50 emails and phone calls to get him to be mine. When I met him, I was a mess (shocker, I know).

He’s the friendliest, kindest, and smartest boy.
