Doctor, musician, and 50 YEARS of still holding the San Francisco city record for his discus throw at the All-City finals in high school in 1976! What can’t he do?! Huge congrats to my Daddio for being officially inducted into the SF Prep Hall of Fame this weekend!! 🎉🥰

He even got a special ceremony at the Giants game at Oracle Park where his name will now be added to the SF Prep Hall of Fame recognition display! 😮

So proud of you Dad!! 🥹💕 And thank you for your athletic inspiration all my life! Everyone needs a mission in life, and currently mine is to convince as many of my students as possible that I’m called “Coach Kat” because I used to be a real cat until a wizard found me and transformed me into a gymnastics coach. It’s going well so far 😸

I’m proud to love @tre_villian . I’m proud of both of us for having the courage to embrace who we are and so grateful that we found each other, and found an even deeper love because we could love each other as our full selves.

I’m proud to have such a wonderful community of family and friends who love us as our most honest selves. I’m proud to have a wider community, both now and in the past, who fights tirelessly for our right to exist as our true selves and express our love and commitment. I’m proud of California for letting me marry you. I’m proud of all my LGBTQ+ family out there reading this.

And lastly, I’m proud of those from every generation who were raised to view this version of love and expression as wrong, and are choosing to begin opening their heart in a new way. It’s all love ❤️

Shoutout to my Mom and Grandma, the best Moms in the world if I do say so myself! Your support, love, kindness, and wisdom are the greatest gifts.

Anyone who meets either of you can feel the love and caring you both radiate so genuinely. And I know that’s a fact, because friends who meet you both frequently tell me!

I’m so grateful to have you both in my life, and to have been given such a beautiful example of what it means to mother, care, and nurture, that I can carry with me through the rest of my life.

Being trans isn’t something I woke up one morning and chose to be. I’m just me. But over time I did realize that putting voice and expression to who I am on the inside brought me unfathomable joy and peace. So now, every day, I do make a choice. A choice to be happy. A choice to be true to myself. A choice to be open and honest about who I am and who I love, and all the whirlwind that seems to come with that.

After opening myself up this much, there’s just no putting it all back inside. So I will fight for my happiness, protect my love, and choose to continue being true to myself.

I’m so endlessly grateful my heart was captured by someone who gets me. Someone who is trans too. So thankful for all the family and friends, both new and old, who support and accept us as we are. And I’m brought so much peace by knowing how many allies are out there fighting for our rights as well.

Thought it would be fun to prank my students and their parents with a disaster beam routine at our gym’s annual showcase 😹🙌🏻

The coaches get a chance to perform after the kids and I was originally just going to do some tumbling and a normal beam routine. But the day before the show I was encouraged to maybe add in some stunt stuff as a bonus, and thus the idea for the “bad beam routine” was born 😆

(Definitely took some inspiration from Paul Hunt’s comedy beam routine from the 80s, check it out if you’ve never seen it)

So much fun! Had to do some normal flips right after to calm some of the more horrified looking parents that didn’t get the joke 😭😂

Feeling so hyped to be entering my coaching era!!! I’ve learned so much the past few months working as a gymnastics coach and I can’t wait to see all the ways this work continues to expand my skillset and possibilities! Plus, I gotta say the free gym access has been a dream come true 😝🤸🏻‍♀️

Better late than never! 🤪 I’m trying to start sharing more about what I’m working on, I swear 😂🙌🏻

So throwing it all the way back to earlier this year, had a fun night in DTLA going for a ride on this hijacked city bus for Season 8 Ep. 13 of 9-1-1! I stunt doubled the bus driver, played by the wonderful @tiffb ! One of those nights where I got to sit back and enjoy the ride, as the bus was actually being controlled by the talented @dannywynands 🔥 But I had a blast pretending I was driving through those spike strips 😆 Thanks again for having me @turner_tierre and @juliafrazelle ❤️

It was great seeing some friends and meeting some new peeps! You guys killed it 🔥
