I can’t believe it’s been three years already. Sometimes it feels like yesterday, and sometimes like a whole lifetime has passed.

Every year on this day, I find myself somewhere different in the world, finding my own little ways to honour you, feel close to you and celebrate you.

The first year, I was in India, sitting by the holy lake, creating my own little puja for you. The second year, I walked the Camino de Santiago in tribute to you, literally carrying you with me through every step of the journey. And this year, I’m in Mexico.

Three years, three different places. Honouring that traveler spirit we both have. Like mother, like daughter. 🤍

I wish I could tell you all about this life I’m living, the places I’ve seen, the people I’ve met and the woman I’m becoming. Sometimes I wish I could pick up the phone and hear your voice, or sit with you and tell you everything.

But even though I can’t reach you in the physical way I wish I could, I feel you accompanying me on this journey. Sometimes I can almost hear your voice in the quiet moments. I feel guided, even when I don’t know where I’m going, and I trust that somehow, everything will unfold as it should.

I hope you’re proud of me, Mama. I hope you can see how hard I’m trying to make the most of this beautiful, messy, unpredictable life.

I wish we had more time in this physical world. More conversations, more hugs, more ordinary days together. But I’ve learned that love doesn’t end where physical presence does. Our connection and love hasn’t and will never disappear.

Today, I want to honour you and show my gratitude for everything you gave me, all the unconditional love and sacrifices you made for me. I thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

So here’s to you, the life you lived, the love you gave me, and the invisible thread that will always connect us.

Three years in the physical world without you, but never a day without your love.

Sometimes we get so caught up in being productive, figuring things out, and worrying about what’s next that we forget to simply enjoy being alive.

Life is happening right now, in the little moments.
The unexpected laughs, the songs that make you move, and the things that make you feel like a kid again.

So go be silly!
Go dance.
Go do something just because it makes you happy.
Not everything has to have a purpose. Not every moment has to bring you closer to a goal.

Don’t get so caught up building your life that you forget to live it. 🤍

Decided to post today’s morning flow as a challenge to myself to stop waiting to post only when i think it’s “perfect” or when I don’t make any “mistakes”.
