This week at training: (for those playing along at home) I’m convinced @markgilbert.sc is determined to match my squat number to my deadlift number 😂 I’m not mad about it 🤷‍♀️ S145kg (PB) B65kg (PB) D145kg (PB) by @kat.j.lifts
I’ve wanted this for a while, but wasn’t strong enough. These guys all knew how much it means to me! We’re putting on some size and doing the work. We’ve got until June to build- but it’s an achievement to even received an invite for the first time. @markgilbert.sc let’s go get some big numbers! I’ve got some werrrrrrk to dewwww. 🫡 #powerlifting #winterpro #wrpf by @kat.j.lifts
@wrpf.australia nationals 2026 🫡 1st place u56 @jezaem called us and said he hadn’t seen any posts so I told him I bombed out. Did not in fact bomb out, nor did I fail my opener @ggeorgia.rosee so now I can continue to coach her without her being embarrassed of me 😆 Squat 117.5kg (-2.5kg because I suck) Bench 57.5kg (equal comp PB) Deadlift one hundred and fkn forty kg! (+5kg comp PB and my goal finally unlocked because I DONT suck.) TOTAL 315kg (+2.5kg) Also a 200kg hip thrust? 🤷‍♀️ Massive thank you to @taylen_create for the endless support in our crazy endeavours, and for looking out for us on the day, and also for the videos! (And congrats on lifting some sick numbers!) @fitzys__adventures thank you for the support, and plate loading. That day couldn’t have ran without you either! @staaaaccee how wholesome to be reunited for nationals again finally 🥹 I am so proud of you and grateful for you!! And of course, @markgilbert.sc there is no way we would have been on the platform without you. Thank you for the insane growth over the last 10 months, and look! WE GOT THE 140 🤝 forever grateful for you! I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings 🫶🏻 THE BEST. More spam to come 💪 by @kat.j.lifts
Moving up a weight class has been a much bigger mental challenge than I thought it would be. But it’s also helping me change the misconception that my weight increasing means my mental health will deteriorate with it. It’s strange knowing that something you’re actively choosing, something you genuinely WANT for yourself, can still trigger feelings from a time in your life you never want to revisit. Lately, seeing my strength progress has been helping me rewrite a story my brain has held onto for years. I’m learning that the number on the scale doesn’t have to represent a painful chapter of my life. It can represent a new one. 🫶🏻 by @kat.j.lifts
@teashaprice suffered a stroke earlier this year, but day after day fights to get stronger and beat what life unexpectedly threw at her. This is #courage Teasha, you show up, day after day, working towards things that once came so naturally, but now require more courage, patience and determination than most people will ever understand. I know this isn’t a journey you ever asked to be on, and I won’t pretend that your strength makes any of it fair. Especially when it throws more hurdles at you as each day passes. But I hope you know just how extraordinary you are. You inspire us all day after day, and we are so proud of you ✨💗🫶🏻 #strong #women #inspire by @kat.j.lifts

And that’s on evolving 🫶🏻 You can’t be the old you, when a new you is waiting around the corner. One who’s stronger, one who’s experienced more, one who’s been through more ups and downs than the old you. Be proud of each version of yourself that you’ve lived as xx #strong #resilience #new by @kat.j.lifts
