Shoutout to the incredible @marianavelludo for absolutely crushing it behind the camera! 🎥✨
@melissaleealexander brought the heat!! 🔥

When you book a session with me, it’s not just about the photos, it’s about the experience. It’s a confidence boost, a mini therapy session, and a whole lot of fun! Hearing clients say how comfortable they feel during a shoot is the best compliment I could ask for.

I’m beyond grateful for this journey and where it’s taking me. ❤️

🏝️ This trip!! Omg this trip was a dose of medicine we didn’t know we needed. We haven’t hung out or seen each other in ages but even with the gap in time we connected right where we left off. No judgment, no negativity, no drama. Just old gf’s (all moms) kicking it and tapping into our kid selves again! We laughed, we cried, we screamed, we danced, we meditated.
It was a time yall!! I’m so full of gratitude for the friends that have turned into real sisterhoods. We connected even more than ever before. And because of that I hold Puerto Rico much more closer to my heart. 💚
Btw this was a mock wellness retreat/girls trip that highly confirmed future women’s wellness retreats.
So be on the lookout on my @tune_in_retreats page.

@dgreen9 @serbian_flower3 @iwashere_nikkie @love_is_redroses @_leelee_85 love you girls so much!!!! 😘 Till next time!

When you wake, make time for you. Be selfish. Give yourself some time to tune into you before giving yourself to the rest of the day… and lead the day with peace of mind ✨

It’s been almost a month. I just finished photos organized from my Activate residency @boscenterforarts .

I want to take a moment to reflect on it, talk about the process and thank you to my team and BCA’s support.

-
The piece is called Journey to Home.

Most of my life, I’ve been moving around for different reasons, school, work, family. Most of the time, I’ve been running away from home.

Living in Boston for 4 days, I do feel a sense of support and love from my community. I came here for school, after my school finished, most of my friends left. I stayed but felt lost. Also facing the pressure about visa and work. I started to thinking about home’s meaning to me, I started want a “home”, or started want to build a “home”. I stayed close to my community, tried to be supportive… This is where this project originated.

The beautiful of this installation and event is that I want to engage with Boston community and beyond. See other’s feeling about home. Through an open call and direct animation workshop, I invite people to participate and reflect on home. Through many voice, I see something in common: home is not a physical location, but a feeling, a connection, memories and culture. I really value that.

Reading some of your reflection make me very touching. And all those feelings you had, I want to say you are not alone.

—

Also take a moment to thank you BCA, and amazing staff: @blessodresso @doom_nerd

When I got selected, I was facing uncertainty about my visa. Thank you for trusting me and helping to make this happen.

Thank you my team @blabla_n15 @ethanollonahte @lzc4326 , showing up with professional skills and brilliant mind. And musician @do__zi amazing music and collaboration experience. Also best supporting @wlfgrl666_

Thank you for filmmaker residency @amirnowinc , plan and execute all the shooting and interviews, we gonna have a documentary coming soon.

And video @vincent_millennia @lzc4326

Also thank you everyone who responded to open call and attended the event. Thank you for being part of the experience.

My next step is of course to expanding this project.
Hope to see you soon. :)
