Last night we went to dinner.
Our yearly fancy dinner; To celebrate our birthdays, but most importantly to celebrate our friendship.

ALL CAPS 2026 is a wrap
(sort of a little bit…).

This morning Daniel started off with two new murals in Hoogkwartier with @Imagine and @Telmomiel.
And I am talking to Tarwewijk about the new designs for 5 pillars starting soon with @studiozepa.

But let’s not forget to celebrate.

This year, in the name of the festival, we did 2 pop- ups in de Bijenkorf, and 1 at Central Station.
We had 7 weeks of Oma invites at MaMA with 3 openings and 4 guest artists. A expo by Henny Overbeek in Lombarijdijen, a knowledge day in collaboration with het Kunstgebouw, a knowlegde day for professionals, a live drawing battle, a curators meeting and a directorsdinner.
We visited the beginning of the cultural year, the depot, Big Art and Fenix and we threw a closing festival at Spinozapark with a killer program.

And, let’s not forget: we celebrate the opening of NINE new murals and a lot of interventions by the most amazing artists.

I am proud, this was insane but amazing. And we are just getting started.

Photo’s by the amazing:

🎨 #rotterdam #rscwfestival #gratisfestival #streetculture #publicart #streetart taken in Rotterdam, Netherlands by @kat_dox

Vacance a la France!

Fotodump

Super mooie omgeving zowel natuur als de steden.
Geweldig landschap dat me herinnerde aan Semuc in Guatemala.
Goed en veel gegeten in leuk gezelschap.

A la prochaine…. 🩶 by @kat_dox

Seen at Marconistraat, M4H district (@m4hrotterdam), Rotterdam West, the Netherlands.

Mural (2018) for @powwowworldwide Rotterdam, by Syrian artist @dinasaadi (“Everything you can imagine is real”).

dina saadi says:
“And here it goes! My largest scale mural so far is finally done! It was such an awesome experience to paint in Rotterdam as part of the first European Edition of @powwowworldwide fest. Met some outstanding people and made some unforgettable memories! Thank you for the great organization and effort everyone; #powwowrotterdam, Daniel Claessens, @davevdh @jaapd, @rotterdambassadeur, timesofpeace, @katjedox and @annietram77. Now after an exhausting (yet super fun) week, time to party…”.

@rewriters010 says:
“Dina Saadi uses art to speak her mind, to express her emotions and to showcase her ideas. She draws her inspiration from the beauty of nature and from a variety of rich cultures; her inspiration is evident from her use of a bright and colorful palet. Her art depicts the diversity of urban spaces; the characteristics of modern life; the allure of wildlife; the beauty of plants and the mystery of natural elements. Her mission in life is simple: use the street as a canvas and add color to lives in the process…”.
