Let me introduce you all to Metan, a beautiful 48 year old Asian elephant rescued from an elephant tourist riding camp. Where she was forced to give rides to tourists all day long. She is the most gentle and forgiving soul.

I was blessed to have some space to rehearse at @sadlers_wells today so the bunny and the furniture are safe for the time being 😂

The nice thing about having a bigger space is I was able to try out few things I don't normally have the space for, like footwork, been a while so I am bit rusty, but it was fun to try. I have also been able to push the piece and develop a bit more of the movement elements.

Finding grace, is not an easy thing to do in a world that demand toughness and strength from black women, where vulnerability can cost you, your sanity or your life. How does a brutalised body find comfort in itself? I am learning.💜💜
