Happy to see the Red-shouldered hawk return to their favorite perch in our backyard! They stayed for quite awhile! Last picture is through my studio window then I very quietly observed them from a distance outside till they found their prey and flew off! by @kat_rob_hays

Hard to believe we have been married 42 years! Love this guy so much! We are both inspired and amazed by the forest that surrounds us, the little and big things that happen daily. A perfect day is a studio day with music for us both! ❤️ Greek food later in the week when our restaurant is open! by @kat_rob_hays

Love treating art in the neighborhood! This piece, called Resaca, was installed at the Bath House at White Rock lake in 1987 by artist Bradford Graves. #brownmountainartrestoration #bathhouse #whiterocklake #bradfordgraves #artconservation #artpreservation #womenatwork taken in Bath House Cultural Center by @kat_rob_hays

Wonderful antique miniature enamel on copper snuff bottle. The top two photos are the “before” images and the bottom images are “after” treatment. Filled chips and touched in losses. Kathy did a great job on the detail of this one~ #brownmountainartrestoration #artrestoration #artconservation #artpreservation #arthistory #snuffbottle #enameloncopper #womenatwork taken in Brown Mountain Art Restoration by @kat_rob_hays

Vintage 1940-50 carnival chalkware horses. These were a popular inexpensive art form for the time, meant to look similar to Staffordshire porcelain. #brownmountainartrestoration #artrestoration #arthistory #chalkware #artconservation #artpreservation #womenatwork taken in Brown Mountain Art Restoration by @kat_rob_hays
