I was able to step away for a bit yesterday and take Kyler on his first ever field trip!! He rode a school bus for the first time and he got to love on some animals.

James is out of surgery and the road to recovery is starting.

I received so many texts on mine and his phone so please allow us time to navigate these first few days. The surgeon came and spoke with us and even drew pictures to explain. Dr. Nduku is absolutely amazing! He explained in great detail just how close James came to being paralyzed. It shook us all in the room. They may have mentioned luck however, we know there is only one person behind that. God quite literally had James back! He was in surgery for about two long hours and then Dr. nduku came out to let us know how it went. He had to go ahead and place the extra screws and longer rod due to the severity of the break. They moved him into recovery and then came and got me to wake him up. That was a very long and hard process for him and for me to witness. He doesn’t remember the first few hours coming off the anesthesia however, I will never forget. He did not come off of it very well and it was extremely traumatic to see my husband in that way. But God carried us through that and the nurses were wonderful with trying to make him more comfortable. Last night was all about trying to manage his pain and today will be all about getting him on his feet for the first time since the fall. Physical therapy comes soon and guide him through that process.

Thank you all so much for your prayers during this time to carry my husband through. Please continue to pray for him as these next few days will be rough. But he’ll be walking and he’s alive! God is good! All the time! by @kat_rylie89

We are SO excited to announce that we are officially taking applications for boarding on our family farm!

We’re currently doing walk-throughs for anyone interested in seeing the property, meeting us, and learning more about what we’ll be offering. Our goal is to provide a clean, peaceful, safe, and well-maintained place where your animals are treated like family.

This is something we’ve been praying over, and we’re so excited to see where God takes this new chapter for our family and farm. 🙏🏼
