Silly me… Almost forgot that freedom was the goal. That building a business around joy, travel, and purpose was always the point. If you’re in a season of remembering what you actually want — and ready to build something that feels aligned and expansive — I’ve got you. I help people like you turn their love for travel into a profitable, flexible business — one that supports your lifestyle, not the other way around. 👇 DM me “REMEMBER” or drop it in the comments, and I’ll send you the first steps to start your journey. Let’s build the life that feels like the whole point. #inthepursuitoflocal by @katalinatx
Walking away from the courtroom wasn’t easy. I worked hard for that title, that salary, that “security.” But what I realized was I was building a life that didn’t leave room for the things that mattered most: balance, freedom, and quality time to create memories with those that mattered the most to me. Now, instead of billing hours, I’m collecting stamps in my passport. Instead of living for weekends, I’m building a business that gives me flexibility every day. I’ve been able to create a career where abundance and life balance aren’t at odds, they go hand in hand. If you’ve ever dreamed of designing a business that gives you both financial stability AND freedom to live fully, I’d love to share with you how I made the shift. Comment “HOW” and I’ll send it your way! 🥂 Here’s to building businesses that let us live the lives we’ve always imagined. Xoxo, Katie by @katalinatx

Let’s be honest, running a travel business can be stressful 🙃 There are long days and hard decisions… but there’s something different about the hard days when you’re building something that’s YOURS. For me, that’s having the time freedom to travel the world and do the things I want with the people I care about. It’s the ability to working with my sweet pup 🐶Posie💐 curled up on the couch right next to me. It’s having a business that allows me to help people create memorable moments in incredible places with the people who mean the most to them!! Of course, I want that business to pay me well for the work, care, and expertise I put into it. No one wants or should want to work for free . . . there’s a time and place for that, we call it volunteering 😂 If you’ve started a travel business, you probably have your own version of what you want it and your life inside it to look like. However, when you’re putting in the hours and the income isn’t there yet, it can be easy to lose sight of why you started. You can love what you do AND want it to provide meaningful, consistent income. You’re allowed to want a business that supports the life you’re working so hard to create. That’s why I love helping travel advisors get clear on how to reach clients beyond friends and family, turn inquiries into bookings, create a system that produces predictable, repeatable income and build with more intention and purpose. If you’re feeling in the middle of it, maybe even questioning “why did I get into this?” Comment “FLIGHT” and I’ll send you details on how I can help you get where you want to go ✈️ by @katalinatx
Who wouldn’t want an over $70k of bookings and already hit your 2027 Q1 goal in Oct of 2026!? So proud of you Jose for putting in the work! by @katalinatx
Unpopular opinion: your business problem might not actually be a business problem 😉 You can have the best offer, the best content, and the best sales strategy in the world… but if you’re running on empty, constantly stressed, and surrounded by people who drain your energy, none of it matters. You can’t build a thriving business while neglecting the person running it. A few non-business things that have helped me scale year after year: ✨ I invest in my health more than anything. The better I take care of myself, the better I lead, think, decide, and grow. 🌿 I do nervous system work. When I’m grounded, I get more done and stay out of burnout. Stressed and reactive energy leads to survival-mode decisions. ❤️ I give back generously. To my team, my people, and causes I care about. Building a successful business is about impact, not just collecting more things. 🌊 I’m intentional about my environment. The conversations I’m in, the content I consume, and the people around me shape my life and business more than motivation ever will. 🗓️ I build my schedule around my real life. My energy, my family, my travel, and the season I’m in matter. The goal was never to build a business that owns every hour of my day. 🧠 I protect my mind. Less scrolling. More reading, learning, creating, and giving my brain space to think. 🥂 I make room for joy. Fulfilled people build better businesses. Success is about creating a life you actually love living. Scaling isn’t just funnels and sales scripts. Your lifestyle, environment, energy, and values shape all of it. Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs in your business have nothing to do with business. If you’re ready to build a travel business with more income, more freedom, and more breathing room DM me FREEDOM and let’s talk. by @katalinatx
January doesn’t change you. It just changes the date on your excuses. “I’ll get serious after the holidays.” “I’ll start posting consistently next year.” “I’ll figure out how to find clients in January.” Travel advisors, you still have 11 weeks to build the foundation for the business you keep saying you want in 2027. ✨ Get clear on who you want to book. ✨ Create content that gives those travelers a reason to reach out. ✨ Start conversations that lead to consultations. ✨ Build a follow up process so inquiries stop slipping through the cracks. The bookings you want to close in January start with the actions you take now. Give yourself the chance to enter Wave Season with momentum, a clear strategy, and potential clients already paying attention. ✈️ 🔥 Ready to make 2027 the year you follow through? Comment “READY” and I’ll DM you so we can talk about your goals, what’s keeping you stuck, and how I can help you start building now. by @katalinatx
Not choosing is also a decision. You keep saying you want to grow your travel business, but keep giving yourself reasons to put it off. It’s the holidays, you say. The economy. Your busy schedule. “I’ll get serious in January.” At some point, you gotta stop making excuses. Because the single common denominator in everything happening in your business is… you. Your next level will require a different version of you. A version who takes action now on the business you want to have in 2027. Read that again. The clients you want booking in January need a reason to start talking to you today. Don’t take it from me, take it from previous students of mine. If you’re finally committed to making 2027 your biggest year in travel, comment READY and let’s start building the business you keep saying you want. ✈️ by @katalinatx
1. I would tell you to stop treating your feed like a travel magazine and start treating it like a sales asset. 2. I would tell you to make it painfully obvious what kind of trips you sell, who they’re for, and why someone should trust you to plan them. 3. I would tell you to post content that does the selling before the consult call, like: ✈️ Why this trip is worth booking now 🌍 Who it’s perfect for 🧳 What most travelers get wrong when planning it 🥂 What your clients don’t have to worry about when they work with you 💎 Why your planning process makes the experience better 4. I would tell you to stop hiding behind pretty resort photos and start showing your actual expertise. ✨ Your standards 🗣️ Your opinions 🛎️ Your process 🏆 Your client wins 👀 Your behind-the-scenes decisions 🧭 Your ability to turn “we want to go somewhere amazing” into a trip that feels seamless, personal, and elevated 5. I would tell you to create a clear path from “that looks dreamy” to “I want you to plan this for me.” That means: 💌 Stronger calls to action 📋 An easy inquiry process 📞 Content that pre-sells your consult call 💎 Clear planning fees or service expectations 🧲 Consistent reminders that you are available to book their next trip Your Instagram should do more than inspire people to travel, it should make them want to travel with your help. The bookings you want to close in January start with the content you create in Q4. If you want record bookings before the end of 2026, comment TAKEOVER and I’ll show you step by step what I would do to help you sell an extra $100K in travel before the end of the year. by @katalinatx
Sometimes we get students that ask us how business coaching differs from host agency programs. Our goal is not to duplicate or replace what your host agency is offering. The systems and strategies we teach are designed to dovetail and help grow your business in ways that host agencies frankly are not designed to support. by @katalinatx
