A first look at Kata Nori, Overland Park.

We ran into some timeline delays and had to push the opening back. We'd rather take the extra weeks than open a room that isn't finished. Late October, possibly early November.

What's coming: a larger U-shaped counter, a dedicated cocktail bar, sit-down tables for the first time, and the same hand roll experience you already know with more room to breathe.

Wednesday on the roof at @bar__phoebe. Thank you, Kansas City. 🍣

A one-time menu, their bar, our DJs, and a rooftop that stayed full from the moment doors opened. One of the best nights we've had.

We didn't expect a line down the building, and we ran out of food before the night was over. Apologies to anyone who waited longer than they should have.

More collabs and pop-ups coming, and we'll be ready for you. Thank you @bar__phoebe for having us.

The half of the sashimi list people sleep on.

Hamachi is yellowtail, kanpachi is amberjack, madai is sea bream. All three are cleaner and
lighter than tuna, and they are the ones our chefs reach for. Ask what is cutting best the night
you come in.

We’re open normal hours in our restaurant.

One-time menu, one night only, up on @bar__phoebe's roof. Their bar handling the drinks, a few of them we built together, and our own DJs on from 7.

When the night ends, the menu comes down with it.

Dinner and a show, except nobody's performing.

Six years ago, Greta, Kelsey and Bass opened Uchi Denver together.

On September 27 they're back behind one counter.

Fifteen courses, one night, built between the three of them. Expect crawfish chawanmushi, Louisiana ebi, smoked uni, and a miso praline to finish. The rest you'll find out when it's handed to you.
