Every film has a story behind the story. And trust us, the Producers have a few!

Join Women Independent Producers (WIP) in Los Angeles for our signature Tales From the Set series—a candid conversation soirée about what it really takes to bring a film from vision to release, the power of the director–producer relationship, and the often-unseen work that deserves to be recognized.

We’re talking collaboration, creative partnerships, and PRODUCER PARITY—because bringing a film into the world is a team effort, and the people who carry the torch deserve to be celebrated, too!

✨ Come for the stories. Stay for the connections. Celebrate the collaboration.

📅 Saturday, October 24
⏰ 1:00–3:30 PM
📍 Emerson College, Los Angeles

Co-powered by Alliance of Women Directors, Wrapbook, and Emerson College.

🎟️ RSVP now! Link in bio. Pre-panel refreshments. Space is limited!

IT’S LIVE! 🎬 AWD’s 2026 Charitybuzz Auction is officially open!

We’re kicking things off with one-on-one conversations, consultations, mentorship, and exclusive experiences with creative and industry leaders who are pushing film + television forward.

This first group features Mark Duplass, Lesli Linka Glatter, Michael Swanson, Kat Coiro, Eric Feig, Bethany Rooney, Christine Swanson, Gillian Robespierre, Laura Belsey, Olivia Newman, Pete Chatmon, Zadoc Angell, Andi Armaganian, Kristin Windell, Mark Monroe, Tony Yang and more!
