Happy Birthday Poppy Beatrice! Yesterday you became an official teenager! You made me a mom and I feel so very, very lucky. You are amazing and funny and smart and quick. So athletic and determined. Being a parent is bittersweet, but mostly sweet. Hard work and fun but mostly fun. I feel all the things every parent before me has felt, but mostly I feel proud. This moment in time is fleeting, and maybe that’s what makes it so special. Can’t wait to see all the things you do next! Sorry you’re not allowed on Instagram. by @katdines

The summer Freddy discovered ribs, goose discovered the beach and poppy made the varsity tennis team! It flew by filled with sunsets, movie nights and lots and lots of tennis. Couldn’t ask for a better summer. Sad to see it go but so grateful ❤️ taken in Southampton, New York by @katdines

Switzerland, we adore you 🇨🇭! Had an unforgettable time with an amazing crew, reunited with old friends, and everyone hit the slopes! We enjoyed daily sauna sessions, savored delicious meals, and miraculously, no one got hurt! Poppy and her BFFs conquered the world's tallest zip line, while Freddy impressed us all by picking up skiing in no time! Sweet 16! I’m so thankful I met this cute doctor at Bungalow 8 many moons ago and even happier he thought it was funny when I lied about being in med school (not knowing he was). I’ll tell you how much I love you irl @jdinesmd by @katdines

This is 12! My heart grew three sizes the day you were born (like the grinch?). Poppy you are so loved- by me, the whole fam, and this band of amazing friends you have made.
