It's not always being being poised, polished, perfection. It's not about the forced smiles and unnatural postures a lot of photographers find in the view of their camera. It's about meeting a toddler on their level in an environment that doesn't feel intimidating. Running around with them. Chasing them. Getting those genuine smiles. I laid on the ground. I laughed till I was outta breath. And somewhere in between a lack of cooperation, because when does an almost 2 year old ever cooperate, and snapping rapid photos, 30 minutes later and 68 images, I've found my favorite. I adore these lil muses! 2 outta 6 of my grandsons. Ace & Jersaun 'Saint'. All images digitally forwarded to their momma. And as for this moment, they won't remember this day, but we'll have picture proof that it happened. by @katdreamsincolor

Holidays Right Around The Corner!!!!

As a trucker, I don't always have the luxury of being home to see a project from start to finish. This one crossed a few state lines. From Georgia to Texas and back to Georgia!!

I'd been second guessing myself about the cardigan (this is my 3rd). It's a simple pattern that uses 2 basic stitches. A little math, a few panels and minimum joining. It's a great beginner friendly pattern. Simple to follow. Just ask @thetamachan !!! She just finished her cardigan and it is amazing. Ok I'm all done talking about it. Now I'm gonna tag a few. Mmmkay. Oh should I list this simple pattern on my Etsy?
