A snippet of my commentary work over the past year or so. Have had a blast calling men’s and women’s codes at national and international levels including:- football/soccer- flag football - swimming- hockey- American football/gridiron- pool/cue sportsNot pictured: track and field/athletics. In short: this girl has been busy! What a weekend hosting Seas the Day 2026 and sharing the stage with SO many inspiring women and men! Yep, I looked a little different on stage this year, which made hosting this event even more special for me - and just maybe inspired other pregnant women to get out there and continue taking up space! It has made me appreciate this weekend and the incredible women who paved the way in all aspects of surfing even more (I am also thrilled to discover breastfeeding-friendly wetsuits made by @atmosea_ !) How lucky is Bump to be able to grow up in a world where THIS is the kind of community girls and women who surf are welcomed into!! Thank you to our wonderful speakers and event organisers @surfingaus @belenkimble @allyboo @lukemadden and all the rest of the team for another outstanding year at Kingy. Day 1 @surfingaus Seas the Day is in the books! Seven hours of MCing live panels and Q and As, with every session packed out! Bump and I shared the stage with so many icons including the owners of 16 Olympic medals (to be fair 14 are @emmamckeon ‘s) 🥇Beautiful chats with Emma, @danehenry_ @owright @islahuppatz @daniellescottski @alanarblanchard @caitmiersphotography @laughlinesproject @jessmileydyer @steph_hendrickson_ Also some amazing workshops featuring @belindabaggs @swellnet @kerrytturner and more. Are all of these photos my best or most flattering angle? Probably not! 15,000 attendees last year, even bigger this year - Seas The Day by @surfingaus is back THIS WEEKEND in Kingscliff! 🎤🏄‍♀️I can’t wait to MC the women of surf hub and have some amazing chats with our speakers including but not only:@alanarblanchard @emmamckeon @owright @jessmileydyer @jessestarling @shayeleeuwendal @100pambo @loreofthesea @atmosea_ @kerrytturner @nrmainsurance Seas the Day is a free event welcoming everyone featuring celebrity surf comps, giveaways, activations, free lessons, yoga, workshops, and more. The community and audience I meet at this annual festival are some of the most engaged of any event I have hosted, and the lineup of guests always incredible. Huge kudos to @surfingaus and the inimitable @belenkimble for putting it together!
