I’ve picked up my paintbrush again after a long break! I have an entire concept that I’m now scared to execute because I like the simplicity of it right now, but it still feels incomplete. (I’m also scared to overwork it and mess up my progress)…

So out of curiosity, what would you add to this painting to make it more interesting or feel complete?

Hi 👋 I’m Kate Audrey (she/her) I’m a 27 y/o queer multi-media artist from New Brunswick, Canada. 🏳️‍🌈

I went to college for visual arts, photography and digital marketing. I’m trained in Reiki energy healing, and I definitely consider creative expression to be the most fulfilling form of spiritual connection in my life.

My current hobbies are creative journaling, crochet, drawing and painting. I switch it up depending on what feels most inspiring in that moment! 🌞

I believe being creative is less about becoming a master at one craft, and more about allowing the energy of inspiration to flow through you into a piece of art; regardless of the final result. 🦋

Art has always felt very sacred to me, so sharing my work has felt intimidating and vulnerable. I look forward to pushing past these blocks and expressing myself more freely. (Your art doesn’t deserve to be locked up and hidden!!!)

I’m so excited for this journey to unfold with the one and only @___humberger___ 💖 by @kateaudreystudio

Recent sketches 🎨 this is your reminder to slow down & create something (whatever that means to you) because you deserve to express yourself and take time for yourself even if it’s just a few minutes out of your crazy & chaotic life ❤️ by @kateaudreystudio
