I’m back 🥹….so most of you know I had a spinal deformity since roughly age 14 which was Schuermanns kyphosis and more recently scoliosis and the kyphosis had got progressively worse. I went in to Stanmore 2/12/24 and came out 20/12/24 after having a 2 stage spinal fusion.1st op was rib removal (for 2nd fusion stage) and to insert cages to make space in the vertebrae,2nd op a week later to insert titanium rods and screws along my spine .the original curve was approx 80 degrees (need to confirm that!) and it’s now reduced by around 50% ! Ok I’m never going to be fully straight as the curve was severe but it’s a massive improvement !!! Can’t explain the pain I’ve been through…but I’m slowly getting there day by day!!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🥹🥹 by @katechrysxx
