This week marks two years at Adobe, and wow what a year it has been. If I thought year one was wild and incredible, year two said “hold my Diet Coke”. Some highlights from this year:

- My first Adobe MAX in which I hosted our largest Ambassador Summit ever (at nearly 200 attendees)
- A promotion in February
- Another incredible Summit in London followed by Creator Live London
- Supporting the coolest Adobe Express partnership ever in Laax, Switzerland with three extremely talented ambassadors
- Hosting our first ever community event in India with an Ambassador Summit in Mumbai
- Growing our ambassador program nearly 2.5X from where it was this time last year
- Enabling our ambassadors to create thousands of pieces of really freaking good content
- Through the ambassador program sponsoring over 100+ ambassador led events since the start of this year
- Growing our community in new regions such as India and Brazil
- Presenting an award on behalf of Adobe at @thereelies
- Adding two new members to my little team
- Getting to spend time with our entire org IN PERSON at our yearly offsite
- Continuing to get to work with some of the coolest and most wonderful people

This job - while often chaotic and always a lot of work - continues to be one of the most fulfilling of my career. Getting to build programs that supports creators and creatives is by far the grooviest (yes I said it) things I have ever done. And the people I get to do it with - equally groovy.

Here’s to a kick butt third year and doing more cool stuff, for a cool community of creatives/creators, with cool colleagues. And I’ll be kicking it off with Adobe MAX Miami in November with yet again our largest Ambassador Summit ever - 280+ incredible ambassadors. Let’s do this!

P.S. While I love all my colleagues a special shout out this year to @meganelisabethreinhardt and @sydneyscommunity who are absolute rockstars and were my partners in crime for all our Summits - where to next year??

A very belated recap of our first ever Adobe Ambassador Summit in India - hosted at the incredible @ifbe.space in Mumbai this past May. We brought together 100 of the most talented Creators and Creatives from across India for a full day of collaboration, community, and connection.

We kicked off the day with some incredible creators sharing their creative journey and then moved into an insightful panel hosted by our amazing Express Evangelist @lugidesign. After a lovely and delicious lunch we had breakouts for product deep dives (including Lucy on Express and the amazing @hadrienchatelet on Firefly), a fantastic portrait session by the talented @saunakspace, a fun create your own magnet in Express activation, beautiful postcards to write and send designed by some talented members of the community, a stunning chalk wall hand lettered by @nikhatillustrations, and plenty of time to connect and create content.

We then came back together for an insightful present ion from @kail.designs and @studio_articulation on how to integrate AI into your workflows without sacrificing your creativity, followed by some hard hitting and important Q&A. We closed out the Summit with a short presentation on how the Adobe Ambassador Program can enable you to host your OWN community events before snapping a group picture that I need to have framed and hung in my office.

That evening we came back together one last time, at the St. Regis Mumbai, for incredible food, drinks, conversation, henna tattoos, and photo booth fun with some stunning backdrops created in Firefly by @visyn.ai.

This was Summit - the first of its kind in India for Adobe - was so special and I’m so thankful I got to be a part of bringing it to life (along with @meganelisabethreinhardt @sydneyscommunity @heidicreativecommunity and @saunakspace). This was a VERY special moment and I can’t say enough how truly incredible it was meeting everyone and being so warmly welcomed. I can’t wait to go back. I truly did leave a piece of my heart in Mumbai 🇮🇳.

Last week I had the privilege and pleasure of hosting our first ambassador summit of 2026 - in London at @londonkindred (an absolutely incredible venue). We had 100 of the U.K.s most dedicated and passionate creators, creatives, marketers, and small business owners join for a day of community, connection, collaboration and content creation. At every moment - from the speakers to the swag (that’s for a future post) - we sought to highlight members of this incredible community.

After the welcome we immediately jumped into six ambassadors sharing their unique creative journeys (@jaydonguiler @zero.msh @designwolfldn @htwcreative @bettercontentcreators @thesocialmediaoga). This then segued into an incredibly insightful panel led by our incredible Adobe Express Evangelist @lugidesign.

After a delicious networking lunch we had a choose your own journey series of breakout sessions - including a VERY popular session about how to host a community event led by @gradgirlmarketing and @nikihutchison. @lugidesign @katiedouglaas and @3bisset led some fantastic and interactive demos of @adobeexpress and @adobefirefly. Ambassadors could also design and print their own custom keychain using Express.

We all then came back together for a fantastic presentation about authentically integrating AI to amplify (not replace) your creativity from @teresaferrgoodstudio and @theyarecreative. We closed out the summit with a group photo and some tea and snacks before heading back to refresh before returning for the evening reception.

The evening brought delicious food and drinks, networking, signing the coolest chalkboard wall, designing your own temporary tattoos, and Photo Booth fun with incredible backdrops designed by @theyarecreative.

The entire day was magical (and wouldn’t have been possible without my incredible colleagues @meganelisabethreinhardt @sydneyscommunity and @kelsie_community). I love my job most days, but especially on days like this where my entire purpose is bringing people together. Thank you for being a part of this community. I can’t wait for the next summit!

I am calling on the amazing Adobe ambassador community for help. Let’s do the thing and spread the word and love!

We are looking for nano creators (1000 to 5000 followers) who talk about AI or use AI in their workflows to join the new Firefly Ambassador Program Contributor Tier. This tier is especially designed for up and coming creators as an entry point to help them grow and eventually become a paid member of the program.

I figure it is about time to introduce myself properly. Hello, I am Kate! I lead our ambassador programs at Adobe (right now focused on @adobeexpress and @adobefirefly). I joined Adobe in the autumn of 2024. Prior to joining Adobe I spent nearly 3.5 years at Reddit, and before that I worked in the gaming industry for 12+ years. All in all I have been doing community work for 19+ years - my entire career.

I am originally from Vermont, went to school in Boston, and moved out to California (SF Bay Area) immediately after I graduated from university. I stuck around because you just can’t beat the weather and the diversity of the food and people.

My spouse and I have three kids - ages 9, 5, and 2 - as well as two cats and a dog. I love gardening and plants of all types (I have over 100 houseplants). In February of 2025 I started learning how to do pottery and fell in love with it and bought my own wheel and set up a studio in my garage. I also like to make my own salsas (with my homegrown tomatoes and peppers). And last year I learned how to make my own salves and balms.

My favorite video game is The Sims, followed by Pokemon (Mew is my favorite), and the Mass Effect trilogy. My favorite shows include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls, Scrubs, and Doctor Who. My favorite movie of all time is Schindler’s List, followed by The Wizard of Oz. I love reading - especially high fantasy and psychological thrillers.

My favorite place I’ve ever traveled to is London - but I also have a great love of Scotland and Ireland as well. My top destinations to still visit are Italy and Japan. Favorite food is a three way tie between pasta, sushi, and burritos.

Oh and just to horrify y’all, I don’t drink coffee, nor matcha. I also don’t drink energy drinks. As such I am tired pretty much all the time.

Thinking back to my first #AdobeMAX and the incredible group of ambassadors we hosted (nearly 200 from all seven continents - yes even Antarctica). At our pre-MAX Summit we had blank paper and crayons at all the tables so folks could doodle. After the Summit ended I went around to the tables and snapped pics of some of the artwork. It was so delightful.

Can’t wait to see what 2026 brings for our ambassador program - I have a feeling it’s going to be a big year!

My first official #AdobeMAX is in the books, and wow was it a special one. I had the fortune and pleasure of hosting a pre-MAX Summit for nearly 200 creators and creatives from all seven continents (yes, even Antarctica) - all of whom are ambassadors for @adobeexpress and @adobefirefly.

This is truly the most special and incredible community. Sometimes I can’t believe this is my job. My favorite part of this job is watching ambassadors connect with each other, building friendships that transcend the internet. The life of a creator, creative, or small business owner can be a lonely one so any moment I get to bring them together with like-minded individuals - it’s worth all the stress and chaos (and the empty social battery).

Thank you to every single person who made this experience a reality - but especially @meghanlovesdesign @meganelisabethreinhardt @kelsie_community @lizign and @heidicreativecommunity. You are the BEST team ever.

And to our ambassadors - you make this community so dang special and I am so lucky to know you. Cant wait for the next one!
