We lost our sweet big girl Varya very unexpectedly a few weeks ago. I’m finally able to look at photos of her without crying. She was the sweetest, goofiest girl. She loved walks, snacks, her toys, snuggling and rolling on her back for tum tum time. She made our lives 100% better. She was always happy, always wagging her tail. Our home is a lot dimmer without her joyous light. Trying to take comfort in the fact that she had a great life. From a stray dog who had been pregnant multiple times to a cared for, pampered princess who was so loved and gave so much love in return. We miss you so much, Var Var ♥️ #varyaarmijo by @katedogg21

Prague highlights 🖤 We visited Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. Anthony’s church (cathedral was definitely my favorite. I love ornate cathedrals) We went craft cocktail bar hopping (I tried Absinthe for the first time) We got new tattoos (I got a block of tofu and the Vegan 🌱 symbol) We recreated the Depeche Mode photograph on the Charles Bridge (there were other fans there and we asked one to stand in for Martin’s pose) and we ate more vegan food and strolled down twisty cobblestone streets and went shopping in Czech supermarkets. taken in Prague, Czech Republic by @katedogg21

Berlin highlights included touring Hansa Studios (where Depeche Mode recorded three of my favorite albums and where David Bowie recorded the iconic “Heroes”.) The Neues Museum to see Nefertiti’s famous bust (she made my heart skip a beat and my eyes tear up. She was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen) Remnants of the Berlin Wall (historic and moving) A boat tour on the Spree River (lots of architecture and history) What an incredible time in Berlin we had. Super vegan friendly and the public transportation was incomparable (thanks to super navigator Angel) 🖤🖤🖤 taken in Berlin, Germany by @katedogg21

Three years ago today this sweet baby came into our lives ♥️ and on November 28th he left it 💔 Rocky was supposed to be a foster for six months while his First Mom got situated in a new living situation. One month later, I got into a pretty bad car accident. I was horribly depressed and in a lot of pain. Rocky stuck by me the whole time. Somehow, dogs just know where they’re supposed to be at the time. We ended up keeping him as I fell more and more in love with this dog. He was my Velcro dog. He never left my side. We took him to the beach, the mountains, the park. He was always so happy and full of joy. He made my life so much better by being in it. Before we lost him his First Mom and sister, his First Dad, his Nana and his niece all got to love on him and tell him goodbye. He passed away peacefully with his Dad and I holding him. To say my heart is broken is an understatement. This little boy changed my life in the three short years we had him. But, a lifetime wouldn’t have been enough with this angel boy. Goodbye, My Love.
