The save the date set the tone, whimsical yet refined, unfolding into a series of thoughtfully designed installations that honored LADD’s 50-year legacy.

3rd Annual Painting Party (Part 1) benefiting @saintdavidsnyc COOKED as my kids would say. What an absolute joy to be surrounded by beautiful flowers and even more beautiful women on a sunny Friday. Sometimes when it feels like we can’t control much in our world, the best thing to do is get together with friends and paint some flowers. It’s been an absolute dream working with @eloquence.events @tory.lynnn and @lyndaloo13 bringing Tory’s stunning backyard English garden vision to life. Paper is such a small part of any wedding, but it’s the first thing guests experience and sets the tone for the fun and beauty to come. I’m obsessed with all the little details we included here, from geographically accurate-to-MA party animals to tiny touches of India in honor of the bride’s fiance (now husband!) to hints of Portuguese tile motifs. It’s feeling like summer!! I made these girls for a @jmclaughlin summer 2022 horoscope series and still like to say hello to them every so often. They’re relaxed. They’re outfitted in wicker and rattan. They’ve snapped their laptops shut, and they’re ready for some beach. 🏖️

Also hats off to Theo’s current favorite song. He’ll come home after a long day, run to the speaker, say “OK GOOGLE PLAY GOLDEN HOUR” and then just vibe for a while like the teenage 7 year old he is, and I’ve been digging it. 🎶 by @katekellydesign
