It was not even a week after I got back from my honeymoon that I packed up again to drive to this shoot. Was I absolutely exhausted walking into it? You can imagine. But something in me knew I was suppose to be there.

Thank God I was. Now I have new friends and a deeper revelation of God’s heart for us. Amen.

My hair hasn’t been this long since I was 17, almost 10 years ago.

I cut it before moving out of my home state to California. At the time, short hair felt like embracing change and freedom from everything I had ever known. I was so focused on what was next, I didn’t spend much time appreciating what was.

Yet here I am. Back in my home state, a place I swore I would never be again, with hair I swore I would never grow again.

There’s something profound about returning to what my younger self once declared forbidden. And now, I’m almost 10 years older and finally discovering how sweet it can be to step back into familiarity. by @kateperezstudio

Here’s the reasons why 2025 has me crawling on my knees to Jesus into 2026, LOL:

Started a photography business (in addition to my social media management biz).

Went on a short film set and two music video sets.

Closed the chapter on a film project with a dear music collective.

Got engaged to my best friend. @joashary

My house flooded a month before the wedding. 🫠

Urgently moved out of my house and lived with my best friend and her husband leading up to getting married. (r.i.p. 3 amigos)

Officially got HITCHED to the loml !!! 😍

Went on honeymoon to Spain and Europe.

Spontaneously Co-directed a music video less than a week later and made new amazing friends.

Moved across the country to my hometown 2 months later.

Found our first home and bought a new car a month later while crashing at my parents.

Picked up videography.

Bought my dream camera.

Went to Dallas, TX to worship Jesus with thousands during 2026 countdown 👀 …

My capacity would be nonexistent if it weren’t for Jesus and the precious community (now husband??? what??) He’s placed in my life.
