In the beautiful blue mountains, this day was the day I looked out across the valley and thought to myself… damn, I could live here. The mist was drifting in, filling the mountain crevices - the smell in the air was fresh, the cockatoos were making their way to bed.

It was peaceful and alive at the same time.
I’ll be back for you blueys 🤎

The frost nips at your nose as it pokes through the hood of your sleeping bag. The warmth slowly soaks through your layers and defrosts your soul as the sunlight reaches through the beanie that you conveniently folded down over your eyes to keep them toasty and to maybe give you an extra few minutes of shut eye.

Waking up with the sun feels special. To wake up when the sun does, to take on the day at its fullest. Feeling those bright rays wake up your body.

Even better when shared with a side of friends xx by @kateproctor__

This concludes the collection for @latrobesport
And I think this was the funnest of all.

Playing with light, shadows, chalk, flash and movement.
And not to mention, being in constant awe of the strength and mobility of the human body.

Moonarie. The red dirt gets under your fingernails, finds its way into every fibre of ur clothing, covers your hair with a subtle red dust, it holds you with a warmth that feels so rich and beautiful.

Two weeks without phone signal, one week of the flu, plenty of card games, giggles, star gazing, crag parties and sleep ins. Honestly I’m not sure if I’d ever be able to leave.

Love you Moonarie 🤎

Ps. Just incase you spotted all my spelling mistakes… just keeping it feeling human (and not ai) taken in South Australia by @kateproctor__

Hugo and I met on a train in the Dolomites, Italy in 2023. I was on my way to Bikepack through Slovenia for ten days and he was headed home after an epic trip through the beautiful Dolomiti Mountains.

We got scheming about future trips, his plan to Bikepack his way around the world, and eventually make his way to Australia, and this is where we decided that it would be silly not to cross paths again.

I met him at Melbourne airport, and we headed towards Gariwerd - it was my dream to show him the beauty of my backyard before he headed off on a great journey from Melbourne to Uluru for the @racetotherock.

It was my pleasure to join him on a short part of his journey, to ride together and share my home. He’s now off to Darwin and honestly crushing it.

This is Olivia Henry, a Victorian cricketer, Batter and Bowler - all round powerhouse.
We shot this as part of the La Trobe University sport campaign, showcasing the epic work these athletes are doing balancing uni and sporting passions.

This one felt extra special for me. Myself being a woman who played cricket for many years growing up in teams where I was the only girl, and at the time - it felt normal but now I realise how important it would’ve been to have other young women there by my side. From jokes about my gender when on the field every single game like “hey you do___pretty good for a girl”, “oh even a girl could do that” or “wow she does ___ better than you” (but in a degrading way to me) to constantly trying to prove myself to feel accepted in the team and felt like I belonged, where it seems that it didn’t matter for anyone else. If I went out or wasn’t accurate, I would beat myself up - I should be better, I need to prove to them that I can be here. (Them being the men around me)
People were of course supportive, I had great role models who looked out for me, were patient and taught me how to play better. In ways I felt like ‘one of the boys’, but it wasn’t without constant themes of sexism along the way. And this happens in other sports too. It just made me want to be better, to prove to them that a young girl could do that any man/young man could do.Which of course is true. But I wonder how much of my mental capacity was taken up by that.

As time has gone on I’ve realised how important it is to have diverse spaces, gender, sexuality, cultural identity/ethnic backgrounds. And how important it is to educate people on how NOT ok it is to put people down with their gender as an excuse.

I could delve deeper, but for now - I just wanted to share a little part of my experience. Maybe others can relate? It seems like a common theme amongst male dominated fields.

Working with Olivia felt special, it showcased where women’s cricket had come. More women’s teams and spaces and plus she’s pretty rad.

This is Tom Reynolds, local to the outskirts of Melbourne and one hell of a sprinter.
@thomasreynolds__ recently placed 5th in the 400m sprint at the 2026 Commonwealth games, Glasgow.

I had the pleasure of working with Tom and @latrobesport last year to highlight the incredible work he’s doing both in the athletics space but also while balancing university (tbh pretty impressive).
And I mean also while being a lovely human.

Epic stuff Tom ⚡️

It was really fun to work creatively in a new way, capture movement centric images and alongside a sweet creative team. I’d be super keen to do more of this… if you’re an athlete…. Let’s chat 👀 taken in La Trobe University by @kateproctor__

Video Postcards from an evening in Vienna.

The 21 riders of the Istanbul express arrived in Vienna on the afternoon of Saturday the 25th of July.
We’ve now been on the move for 20 days.

Vienna will be a two day rest for us, time to soak in the city’s magnificence. Its galleries, music, the Danube river, the beautiful and ancient buildings.

This is Dave Willis.
On the 24th of May 2026, after months of gruelling training, hours of running, strength training (of the mind and body) and dialling his systems - he set off for an FKT attempt on the Gariwerd/Grampians Peaks trail, completing an out and back time of 95h and 15minutes.
But it wasn’t just a solo mission, he was surrounded by a family. Prepping food at 1am, sticking maps to the side of cars, washing clothes, testing vital levels, sharing stories and cheering him on. We even had a Dave Willis fan group chat, updating everyone who couldn’t be there. It was a moment where community really felt strong (I have tears welling up in my eyes just thinking about it). Friends from all avenues of Dave’s life came to pace, cheer and watch on in awe of this incredible human achievement. Dave called Gariwerd home for a few years, with his partner Jamie - having the GPT in his back yard (and a phenomenal amount of magical trails) sparked a wonder that continued on even when he moved away, on the 24th of May he returned. Could he do it? Could he complete 324km of some of the hardest trail running in Australia?

Here’s a selection of images from a film camera I stashed in pacer’s running vests and support vehicles.
Taken by the family around him, and a few taken myself.

(Plus a collection of bts images and videos from the team)

Apologies for the spelling mistakes. I’m tired.

We’re so bloody proud of you Dave 🤎 taken in Grampians Peaks Trail by @kateproctor__
