ARTIST FEATURE | KATERINE ESCOBAR

Katerine’s art asks us to look closer, question deeper, and see beyond the surface.

Originally from Medellín, Colombia, and now based in British Columbia, Canada, Katerine Escobar (@katerineartkore) transforms politics, memory, womanhood, and current events into powerful visual allegories.

Through symbolism, surrealism, and thoughtful use of color, Escobar creates poetic yet provocative narratives that challenge us to question the world around us.

At a time when images move faster than we can process them, her work reminds us to slow down, look again, and think critically. Her work is an amazing example of blending form with silhouette.

Discover the stories behind her work and where she is exhibiting, in the latest artist feature on The Siren Scene.

Keep creating 🖤

CONFLITTO E CURA
call for posters 2026

.
