Well, it's officially Friday the 13th and my first ever solo album "Coping Wreckanisms" is officially out on Bandcamp!
I know it's quite a task to get people to listen to a full length album these days, but if you have the time, I'd like to explain the concept behind recording it with a SideA/SideB format.
Side A (Basement Versions)
For the first half of the album, I wanted to create the atmosphere of listening to a dusty old record in a musty old basement.
Side B (Campfire Versions)
I want the listener to feel like they are hanging out at a campfire jam session. Feel free to join in with whatever noise maker you can find!

I have so many people to thank for helping me make this album possible. It was such a privilege to have the incredible @suburbanbicycle performing the rhythm section and back up vocals and the super talented @ericrstpierre producing and engineering every song at Voidland Records. He truly elevated this songs to something beyond what I could have ever imagined on my own. I also need to mention his beautiful wife, the kazoo guru with the patience of a saint (she probably had to hear these songs more times than I did) Alexis Quibell. Check out her kazoo solo on "Dunce Cap (Campfire Version)".
My dear friend @tamibourine from Minnesota did a absolutely wonderful job on the artwork, which made it all the more sentimental. It's a drawing of a stuffed dog I've had since I was four years old.
My bandmates and musical soulmates @hydes_3xperiments and @grantlyslice who have made me a better musician and a better person.
My mom and dad for supporting me from the second I picked up my first guitar, for driving me to shows as a teenager, and coming to watch me play in the sketchiest of venues.
I feel so lucky and honoured that I had the opportunity to do this.
I love you all so much.

I am beyond excited for this one! Myself along with @miracle_fraud_band will be opening for punk rock legend @kepighoulie of Groovie Ghoulies!
I have been a fan of Kepi and his band @officialgroovieghoulies since I was a teenager, so it almost feels surreal to be a part of this show.
Make your way down to @planetbeancoffeeco for an evening of spooky acoustic pop punk.
(Do you think if I ask nicely, Kepi will sign my Groovie Ghoulies album?)
Doors at 5pm, $15/PWYC, All Ages
