It’s normal to make changes after your bridal trial/preview. In fact, I encourage them. My past brides/grooms know that if you don’t find something, I will.

Your trial can be emotionally fuelled. There are expectations, nerves and the thought of “this is what I’m going to see in photos for the rest of my life.” Woah, that’s huge!

As a MUA who cares with their whole heart, I feel this too. I’m invested in creating something that feels timeless and like YOU.

A few ways to get the most out of your trial:

1. If you’re tanning for your wedding, come to your trial with a similar tan if possible. I recommend @tropicaltansspraytanning @boldbronzebeaute @malibuspray
2. Have your brows groomed as you plan to wear them on the day. I also offer brow services, so you can book in with me before your trial or wedding.
3. Try to reference my work when choosing your inspiration. Pinterest is great for ideas, but looking through my portfolio and saving the looks you love gives us a much more realistic reference for what we can create together and helps me understand exactly what you’re drawn to.
4. Wear something similar in colour and neckline to your wedding outfit if possible. It can make such a difference to how you see the overall look.
5. Having your hair similar to how you envision it on the day can help you see the whole picture.
6. SPEAK UP! Your feedback is encouraged. This is exactly what the trial is for.

My beautiful bride Emm is the perfect example. An ex full glam lover who now wears little to no makeup, we both agreed after her trial that we wanted to go softer, warmer, more timeless and with less coverage for the wedding day.

And look at that end result 🥺

SOLD OUT BEFORE WE EVEN LAUNCHED.

I honestly don’t even know what to say….

Kate Sergi Makeup: The Workshop has officially SOLD OUT before tickets were even released to the public.

On November 22, a room full of makeup lovers will come together for an afternoon of all things makeup. Think live demonstration, hands on learning, recreating the look alongside me, plenty of Q&A, goodie bags, prizes and the chance to connect with other people who love makeup just as much as you do.

To have every ticket snapped up during early access is honestly beyond what I expected. Thank you so much to everyone who signed up, bought a ticket and backed this idea.
