If you told 15 year old me that in less than 5 years she would be talking to 60 (willing) people and teaching them about fungi she would have probably told you 2 things.

1)That she doesn’t really know anything

2)that there’s no way you found 60 people that are willing to spend their Saturday hearing me talk about slime mold

I think the beautiful thing about being so deeply passionate about something is you never stop learning. Every moment I had to tell someone “I don’t know” was a moment that inspired me to keep learning. And I think this long stupid caption is just me telling you to find something that makes you happy, and to never stop learning about it

I want to give a big thank you to my incredible mentors Jordan Gros (@jordangrows) and Alex Landry (@alxlandry) and my mom @jenplaisance who I’m sure spent many moments wondering just how many fungi books she would have to spend her money on. I love you guys taken in Northlake Nature Center by @katesplaisance
