The summer I became a quilter! Been so busy quilting I've forgotten to post all my projects.

Slide 1: Quilt bag for my mama. Turned out to be so hard and my lovely aunt and mentor @lisbmonroe13 saved the day when I was putting all the pieces together. Was so fun to quilt the entire thing myself and to sew with a zipper for the first time.

Slide 3: Quilt for Billie. Grandpa did her dirty with the photo lol but only photo I have for some reason 😂! I got her old sewing machine so next project is learning how to use it. So excited!!!

Slide 4: Birthday quilt for my Connor. A complete surprise!

Slide 6: Quilt for my pops! He uses it for his naps and the dogs know it's time to nap when he grabs the quilt 😂 Probably my favorite colors/fabrics I have done so far!

Slide 8: Quilt for my sister Paige! This was a new geometric print I tried and loved how it turned out.

Slide 9: Quilt for my sister Cortney! Her favorite holiday is the 4th of July so had to make a flag quilt. Thinking I have to make one for myself now!

If you know me, artistic stuff is so hard for me lolol. But I water colored with my bestie leah for the first time since maybe elementary school and it was so fun and relaxing and you know it's totally okay to be bad at your hobbies, so I'm just going for it. Hello everyone. I have decided to use this account to post random things I do or make or try. First up, my first quilt ever!!! My cutie Aunt Lis made it with me and I'm so proud of myself because this stuff is so hard for me. Woohoo for trying new things. I chose to do a heart quilting pattern. And man, I just love my little quilt. ❤️ by @katethedreamdate
