I truly love this place and show so much and only do it once a year or two.

It’s a pinch me feeling to be doing work that I love and am curious and excited about.

The thing that’s different about this collection to me is that I feel like I never want it to end, I have so many more ideas and images swirly in my head and heart that as soon as this run of shows is over I’ll be putting on the canvas in the studio.

It’s all coming to @crozetartsandcrafts with me this weekend (10/10&11) and then will be back up on the studio wall. Studio visit appoints are always available, just shoot me a message.

When I was over in Provonce, I couldn’t help feeling like the mountains there were similarly ancient to the Blue Ridge right here in Virginia.

Their slopes and curves slightly different but something energetically felt so similar. And the swoon in my heart exactly the same.

I am such a lover of the views of rolling hills and textured land, sweeping skies and stormy clouds.

It’s making me really happy to bring this work up to Crozet this weekend.

By far the most popular piece of the weekend.

Pouring Provence was quite the conversation starter. She found her new home and landed two commissions inspired by her.

I’m currently painting a sister piece to bring to Crozet with me :)

Hiiiii :) what’s next for the Verdon Collection?? CROZET, VA is next!!

My favorite show is coming up so soon and I cannot wait to set up in the park nestled under the blue ridge just outside of Charlottesville in Crozet.

Our pandemic stint living out in this area for 2 years was some of the most special time our family has had hiking, stargazing, living a slow life in a gorgeous place. And we met some really lovely people, too.

This show has a special place in my heart as does the land that rolls around it.

Packed it all up and then decided I really needed to play with that green and drench another canvas.
