Happy Toesday furriends! When your toes are so epic their shadow has a life of their own… 🖤-Wocket

(From the Human: The boy is still up and down. Yesterday was up, today started with peeing in the middle of the living room floor. I think he’s hurting again but because it’s the Tuesday that’s actually a Monday the vet forgot to get back to me until 5 mins before they closed so he has to wait until tomorrow for meds 😿 When he starts to hurt it affects his appetite and tummy. Just praying he doesn’t bottom out again…) by @katfishkatz

Just in time for Spooky Season I’m modeling @2manytoes Disappearing #tommyswhackywhiskerserum for those times you want to sneak thru the Pawparazzi like a ghost! Now you see them, now you don’t!! Tommy has serum for every occasion 🖤-Brownson

(Wocket health update: The boy is somewhat stable in that he continues to be able to pee on his own. However, he’s still in a lot of discomfort and goes thru phases where he looks to be straining in the box without producing much, sometimes manically. We’ve had a real struggle finding a vet to manage his case. The IM we saw has her own health issues and has been MIA for weeks. We’re keeping a close eye on him to make sure this doesn’t lapse into another antibiotic resistant UTI since we’re out of drugs to treat him. Scary times but we put one paw in front of the other each day and try to keep handling the challenges for as long as Wocket has a decent quality of life. Thanks to everypawdy for the suppawt!) by @katfishkatz

Happy #blackcatappreciationday furriends! I’m on the fence about whether this was a good way to celebrate. I was catnapped, put in a strange carrier (long story!), and taken to the acupuncture vet! 🙀 However I was bribed with 4 churus on a licky mat to sit quietly which you can see I enjoyed! If you look really carefully you can see a couple of the needles! I’d prefer the churus without the catnapping and vet TBH! 🖤-Wocket

(From the human: the boy was medically boarded over the weekend and they reported that his bladder stayed smallish! So the meds may be helping. I suspect there are some behavioral components playing into things now as he seems to have developed an aversion to going out the cat door to where the litter boxes are. Fortunately the behaviorist we are working with is scheduled to visit on Wed! At least right this minute he seems to be going in the right direction. We’re at the early stages though with the dysautonomia and we need to reculture urine to make sure the UTI component is gone.) by @katfishkatz

I like to think I help put the “whacky” in #tommyswhackywhiskerserum @2manytoes Most people concentrate on the “whisker” thing but I think the “whacky” part is just as important! 🤍-Sam I Am

Hi furriends! The human took me to a neurologist yesterday who ran a bunch of fancy tests. The news is not good. I have something called dysautonomia. In me that manifests as the sphincter between my urethra and bladder not working properly. So my bladder fills up giant but the nerves that are supposed to tell the sphincter to relax aren’t working so I can’t pee and my bladder is distended. This has caused me to have multiple UTIs which are now antibiotic resistant. Sadly the prognosis isn’t good. There’s a med we can try but the best way to make it work is to hospitalize me with a catheter which we can’t really do bc of the UTI. Needless to say, I don’t feel good and the human is a hot mess! If anyone has any kitty experience with this please let her know. She’s scared for me and I just want to feel better!

Thanks for all the love and suppawt! 🖤-Wocket

Hi furriends! You know what day it is and @2manytoes #tommyswhackywhiskerserum chocolatey goodness has my skers popping back like crazy!! Hit him up for a case and tell him Wocket sent you 🖤

(From the human: yes back at the vet again. The boy is improving slowly (this has been going on since April). He now has bladder etony and hind end weakness with some bladder incontinence including big puddles of pee around the house. He sees an acupuncturist, gets laser and PEMF treatments and has neurology and IM appointments in the coming weeks. It’s been a really rough year across the board for me and my kitty crew but we’re hanging in there. To say I’m exhausted doesn’t even begin to cover it. Truly appreciate the love and suppawt and sorry not to be very active these days. Love seeing what you all are up to when I have a free moment!)
