Brand identity for Prestesse - a Parisian born conscious clothing brand redefining the meaning of luxury fashion, not as fleeting trends, but as a sacred reconnection with self. Guided by the ethos of ‘Wildness is the New Wellness’, each piece is designed to feel like a second skin, honouring the body and awakening the soft power of the sacred feminine. We created the branding to have a raw, yet elegant feel, crafting a flowing submark logo using the 3 S's from the brand name, a hand drawn cheetah brand mark, earthy tones and textures, and a modern typography system. by @katfletcher_creates

Here are three things I LOVE to include when creating a brand identity… 1. Custom Type. Now you don’t need this to create a beautiful brand, but it does add a touch of difference to have a logo type that’s been created bespoke to your brand. It get’s people intrigued. Type is an art form. So let’s play with it. Let’s get creative and see how we can make the letters link, pop and stand out. 2. An Aesthetic Palette. It’s not just about choosing nice colours, but colours that go well together. A cohesive palette is a must when creating a brand that catches the eye and draws people in. I love experimenting with mixing muted tones, earthy colours, pastels and sometimes one pop colour that creates a complimentary palette overall. This is especially important for packaging design to make sure all products look good together as a line up! 3. Artistic Touches. I love adding touches like bespoke patterns and illustrations to create a look that’s completely unique to each brand I work on. They are also a great way to communicate the ‘vibe’ and story behind a business in a visual way, instantly giving people a feel for the energy of a brand, before reading anything... How to sell ethically as a conscious business 🕯️ For a long time it’s been common for brands to use methods with subtle coercion or manipulation in order to make sales. To pave a new way, I encourage you to ask yourself before making a decision that touches your audience, is this how I would relate to a friend or family member? Here are some ideas… Rather than emphasising people’s pain points and making them feel even worse about their situation, show that you understand and empathise with their challenge with more objective and less emotionally charged language. Encourage conscious spending by encouraging people to consider their purchase with you, rather making the customer journey pressured or rushed. Respect people’s autonomy to choose what is right for them. Rather than selling from a place of ‘you need what I am offering’, try ‘this is how what I offer could benefit you’. It’s about gentle education over pushy sales. This approach does 3 things: 1. It is better for people’s overall wellbeing who come into contact with your brand. 2. It gives people a greater sense of safety and trust with your brand (as they can often sense when they are being pushed or manipulated) 3. It feels more aligned for you as a business owner, making it easier to sell naturally, show up authentically, feel good in your business, and manifest success.
