It doesn’t always go to plan! Yesterday we got stuck on the wrong side of fence 1 after knocking down every pole. Then at fence 9, good thing Nellie is tall because we got stranded over the fence before getting to the finish line! She’s an athlete! Winston Churchill defined success as going from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm. Yes!!!! by @kathalakis

So much fun with Nellie today! Only a few pilot errors but we didn’t give up — and the purple fence is delight at the last! Thank you for the patient coaching @dennisdijkerman and thank you Amy for the trail ride :) by @kathalakis

We had a blast this last weekend at the Summer Songwriter Showcase at Lakeside Landing! Thanks to my fellow songwriters Bob Scott, @petethetroubadour, and @caver4life for sharing the stage with me, to our family, friends, and neighborhood community who showed up to listen and enjoy the afternoon outdoors with us. Thanks to @kathalakis and @friendsoflakesidevillage for welcoming us and collaborating with us to provide a lovely and supportive space for this event. Feeling grateful! 🙏🤗🌺#singersongwriter #supportlocal #sfbayareamusic #communityevent #lakesidevillagesf by @kathalakis

See you this weekend on Saturday 8/22 from 2-4pm at Lakeside Landing’s Summer Songwriter Showcase! Join us for an afternoon of original music by talented local Bay Area songwriters and musicians Bob Scott, @caver4life, @petethetroubadour, @sushitoku7 and myself. Plenty of neighborhood eateries as well as picnic tables in parklet facing the stage. Thanks to @kathalakis and the tram@at @friendsoflakesidevillage for having us and for keeping this beautiful parklet and these wonderful community events going! #singersongwriter #supportlocal #sfbayareamusic #communityevent #lakesidevillagesf by @kathalakis

Slow motion! Nellie has a huge stride, willing nature, and wears a very soft bit (so I can’t offend her)… I am happy to see our partnership in these short videos. Older horse, older rider, we are having fun! by @kathalakis
