Mga girl, PA-CHECK UP KAYO. šŸ˜­šŸ˜‚šŸ©· I recently went for my cervical screening and honestlyā€¦ hindi siya exactly the appointment I was looking forward to. HAHAHA. But Iā€™m sharing this because I feel like we donā€™t talk about this enough. We are out here, taking care of our skin, hair, career, family, partner, dog, plants, everybodyā€™s problemsā€¦ TAYO NAMAN. šŸ˜‚ Cervical cancer is still affecting women in Canada, with an estimated 1,700 women diagnosed and 450 deaths in 2026. And Iā€™m sharing this because sometimes taking care of yourself doesnā€™t look cute or aesthetic. Sometimes self-love is: making the appointment getting checked being mildly uncomfortable for a few minutes šŸ’—and knowing you did something important for yourself So mga ate, mga sis, mga girliesā€¦ If youā€™ve been putting it off, this is your sign. PA-SCREENING KA NA. Take care of yourself, mhie. We still have so many things to do. šŸ‡µšŸ‡­šŸ«¶šŸ¼šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ by @kathdpl

What if itā€™s not that serious? Likeā€¦ what if we stopped treating every decision like itā€™s a life sentence? Like for real, itā€™s not that serious?! What if youā€™re allowed to change your mind, change direction, and figure it out as you go? You donā€™t need to have it all figured out before you start. And if it doesnā€™t work? Youā€™re not a failure. You learned something. Move on. Not everything has to be perfect, profound, or perfectly on-brand. Sometimes you just need to post the damn thing. Give yourself permission to want something different. Your first choice doesnā€™t have to be your forever choice. Nor your second or third. You get what I mean! Stop trying to love with one foot out the door because youā€™re scared of what could happen. Something could happen every time but regret is not the one we want. Sometimes the life you want requires you to be brave enough to start over. And make it harder but exciting by going somewhere not familiar. You donā€™t have to shrink yourself to stay recognizable to someone else. And you donā€™t have to hold someone back just because theyā€™re changing. Yes, the world can be heavy. But donā€™t let that convince you that thereā€™s no room left for curiosity, play, risk, or possibility. You are not a finished product. You can change. You can pivot. You can begin again. You get to make things up as you go. So go make a life you actually want. by @kathdpl
