savoring summertime 🌞

forever grateful for having met Emma + Teddy, and for their endless kindness and generosity. they took me out on their boat, fed me pizza, and let me get creative and have lots of fun amidst busy season (the second half of this session was spent simply swimmin’) 🥲 the environment with these two is always calm and comfy, void of any pressure to perform or create anything at all. and surprise surprise, that always seems to be when I feel the most inspired 🤍 adore you both sm xo taken in Lake Minnetonka by @katherine.bowes

While you were busy getting married, I kept an eye on everything else 🤭

Oftentimes, people say they’re drawn to my work for the mix of posed and candid photos. And honestly, some of my favorite images in a gallery are the ones we never even planned on — And that’s the magic of a wedding day that leaves time and space for smaller moments to actually happen (like taking time to stop and chat with your grandma). If we plan and run your day like a seal team six operation, only caring about the formal, posed, curated photos, we’re actually missing out on some of the very best parts 🥲 so yes, let’s plan for the big moments, but let’s leave a little breathing room in your timeline for the other good stuff too! taken in Minneapolis, Minnesota by @katherine.bowes
