CAMP 2025🙌

it’s fascinating how my senior pastor started a series on the first 100 days of Jesus’ ministry right before i left for this seven week internship, because i didn’t realize truly how comfortable my life on mission was at the time. and similar to how Jesus was lead by the spirit into the wilderness, i was being lead into a very unfamiliar environment that would challenge my obedience to the Lord every day.

these weeks were everything and nothing i expected, and yet i’m still leaving with such gratitude for everything He’s done.

i’ve never been in such a spirit-filled season of my life. and i can’t help but admire that even though i was being poured into so much, God gave me so much adversity that required me to be elastic, to apply my faith and abide to him. there were days that i had to remind myself that i’m not working for my own pleasure, but serving for His kingdom and glory. even then, God’s blessings have allowed me to serve others as i was being served, and i’ve been incredibly blessed to be a vessel of faith to students and witness salvations from close up. i have NO REGRETS!

i couldn’t ever imagine serving, loving, or being intentional at this capacity without God. He sacrificed so i can live sacrificially. i was SAVED by His grace so i can be fruitful!!!

i’m profoundly moved by these incredible campers that i’m going to miss so much, interns that i consider a family, and for God who orchestrated everything!

FINALLY POSTING HOME CAMP!☀️☀️☀️

can i brag about God for a minute?

biggest takeaway: you are more capable than you think when you are faithful and obedient to His calling!!!

would it be surprise for me to say this week was very special and important? it was!! i reunited with my home church and it was such a pleasure and joy to experience camp with them for another summer. and i don’t know if this summer will be my last! not a moment was taken for granted.

traveling with engage gave me this remarkable opportunity to meet and disciple many different students where they are, in a place that’s intentionally away from the distractions of home to open a space for them to receive the Lord.

this week God answered a very big prayer in my life by allowing me to steward my gifts and be closely involved in witnessing some of my girls encounter and be transformed by Christ.
this seriously meant a lot as a creative who isn’t pursuing a practical ministry job but is still called to be a light to my surroundings. i desire to be a vessel of faith and/or encouragement for those who want to seek Jesus, and despite every excuse, limit, setback, and imperfection I consider myself to have, i have to actively remind myself that everyone deserves to know the amazing Lord who changed my life and can change theirs. that I AM NOT SELF RIGHTEOUS! and my salvation is not my own, but intentionally meant to be stewarded to others as GOD’S gift for his glory.
Camp turns a season/job of consistently putting myself out there into a life habit, and this week God used EVERY authentic part of me, humor, interests, and talents to connect with some similar girls that felt unreached, and use that connection to speak life into them and see God do the change and transformation in their hearts.
and NOTHING is more fulfilling than that! being used with a divine purpose that’s greater than myself, authentically, as I am. it’s so humbling. and when that purpose spreads and changes OTHERS, the Lord’s mighty work and provision becomes so clear. He deserves ALL the glory!

OHIO WEEK 1 + 2!!

It was such a joy to reconnect with so many churches and campers that I met last year!! This camp was my favorite last summer, and undeniably these students know how to BRING THE ENERGY while being so eager to know and share their love for the Lord!!

God has been so good this summer, and I’ve been SO BLESSED to be with this group in the middle of it all!!

I was so encouraged to be with @clayppc again this summer and spend time catching up and getting to know them better!! this church is exceptional, and reminds me so much of home! their leadership has poured so much into their students, and it’s so clear by how high of a bar the kids set in their maturity + faith. it was incredible to have such fruitful conversations with them that I could learn so much from.

1 takeaway, 5 words, Kentucky people are SO COOL!!!
